February 16, 200818 yr There are a couple of scenes in the film where Rhett is just standing, watching and listening to what's going on, like Billy did to When Velma Takes The Stand. It wasn't his scene but I could hardly watch the over the top dance routine, he kept drawing my eyes.
February 16, 200818 yr Author I liked the way he was still responding to the action even when he wasn't centre stage.
February 16, 200818 yr Isn't that part of the meisner technique - thinking about the character and what they're thinking and saying and at the same time keeping the big picture in mind and reacting so that one's reaction seems to be as instinctive as in life, rather than responding to a line with another line. Even where there is no spoken line, no one in real life stands and watches anything without thoughts showing on his/her face.
February 17, 200818 yr however I do remember 1 time when his eyes were drawn to the audience
February 17, 200818 yr All I could find out about Duncan was that he'd been DJ-ing on capital, like D did that week on Metro, and that he's about to come back from Thailand. Terence ? is Billy in the London production of Chicago until 9th March. I wonder if Duncan is still planning to do Canada and then Broadway. The BF there at present is the actor who played Bo in the Dukes Of Hazzard on TV.
February 17, 200818 yr Author In the interview he said that they were trying to get him a working visa. Nothing on Broadway news at the moment.
February 17, 200818 yr It didn't seem to take Amy Winehouse long despite her drug taking history and previous arrest in Norway.
February 18, 200818 yr I think it's harder for an artist to get a visa if an American could do the job equally well, which is Duncan's situation. He's a Brit going over to play an American lawyer, whereas only the real Amy Winehouse could perform at the Grammy's.
February 18, 200818 yr I thought I read later that Amy did get a visa but had decided to perform via a link rather than travel to America .
February 18, 200818 yr Author The papers said she did. Darius has one of those 6mnths visas doesn't he?
February 20, 200818 yr Author A different type of visa could be applied for if he went to broadway as the original lead male.
February 20, 200818 yr I'm just wondering if he already has a working visa....especially if he has been offered film parts.
