I dont think you understand - they cannot fool the public or fix votes - its against offcoms regulations - and unless you havent been on this planet this year you will know the likes of Blue Peter and Ant and Decs saturday night takeaway have been in the news for fixing and fooling the public and have been fined MASSIVELY - and so no show will even dare fix things now.

Whilst as Nadine has been recording again in LA, Cheryl has given a non-commital interview on GA's future; the Spice Girls comeback is only temporary, etc........

But they (Simon & Co) are manipulating this show by as much as they possibly can get away with (By when the acts perform (ie. performing before or after the more watched SCD has finished, their song choices, the judges comments, the videotape promos, the sob stories, the stories planted in the media.) Yet again, another Saturday and another day full of stories about Hope in The Sun, whilst Hope perform after SCD finished, whilst SD are on earlier when SCD is still on BBC1. Last week Hope performed a well choreographed performance with five male dancers and a multi-tracked backing tape, whilst Same Difference song choice was changed with less than 24 Hours notice.

 

Why is Louis raving about Hope yet slagging off Same Difference. Answer because he has been promised that he will manage the winning act and Rhydian has allegedly told Louis where to go.....

Sounds like you believe too much of what you read in the papers. Rhydian telling Louis where to go? I can't see that any of the contestants are in a position to be rude to the four mentors. Dannii and the others have consistently gone on record as saying Rhydian isn't the diva he's painted as. And you can say it's fixed for whoever has to perform during SCD. It just happened to be SD. Each week the order changes - eg.Leon going first last week and last this week.

Rhydian will win this year. I'd bet my house on it.

Yes ... they are fined massively. But in the case of BBC programs - it is only us ... the licence paying public who foot the bill, i.e. No Loss! And in the case of ITV - they have absolutely huge amounts of money! Again ... no loss! I think when they were announcing the winners of one of the best 'programs' on the National Television Awards - I think one of them was when 'The Apprentice' was in the running - they said ... there was a 'sudden surge of voting' and surprise, surprise - Ant and Dec won every category they were in. I'm too long in the tooth to believe any spiel the TV companies spin. I know a fix when I see one.

 

Just my opinion so if you throw the tinned fruit ... I'll just soddin' well throw it back at you!

I think tonight was the most fair elimination so far, it was down to the public

and yeah Bev was alot better than Hope, but she would not sell, and she wouldnt be a success :P

she didnt have the fans, which is why she went.

And its okay saying the judges manipulate us, but no one likes Hope, they have been in the bottom three times now, Simon hasnt been able to change minds.

Rhydian's not my cup of tea, Niki is getting worse every week, her timing is awful, it's becoming scary, if she makes the final, then she would have sang the whole song before the curtain goes up. Hope really are annoying me now, it's blatantly obvious that hardly anyone likes them, and Phoebe they really slaughtered one of my favourite songs tonight. Leon is getting better, but he should have gone before Alisha.

Really?! :o This is the first I've heard of it :huh: I loved Alisha on the X Factor, I think her performance of "Valerie" is the only thing worth getting onto my MP3 player from this year so far, maybe "Feeling Good" from Beverley too.

 

I'd be so happy if Alisha got to record some songs because I really like her as a person and as an artist. Even if she doesn't get a contract I hope she'll record a few songs and put them on Myspace or something, just to hear a few more songs from her.

I think Hope should have gone over Beverley. I'm still bitter that they stayed last week over Alisha. (oh look Alisha managed to worm her way back into my post) :lol:

 

On a completely random note, what I liked about last year was the contestants meeting the special guests and being "mentored" by them. The only people to have done it this year was Celine Dion and Girls Aloud. Last year Rod Stewart, Lionel Richie and...I can't remember helped almost every week. I don't know, but I'd rather watch them meeting the special guests and singing with them etc. than listen to a sob story each week.
