December 18, 200717 yr They haven't done enough promo for starters.. it's the wrong single choice, but i still want it to go top 3 if not 1-_- .. if they don't go to number one i'd like mariah, as i don't want leon or katie melua.
December 18, 200717 yr Author 13 in the midweeks, i expected it lately but am still pretty dissapointed.

December 18, 200717 yr Disappointing yes, but it serves them right, there was no need to release on Christmas week, especially now since all the classic christmas hits can now chart again. Hopefully it will climb into the top 10 by sunday. Edited December 18, 200717 yr by Propilot87
December 19, 200717 yr I think it'll climb into the top 10 next week when all the christmas songs tumble, but it's still not brilliant. It's #13 in the midweeks WITHOUT info on Leon Jackson too so that'll push it down another place when he's added.
December 19, 200717 yr Author This is so terrible, I know there hasn't been huge promotion but its a great song....well thats my oppinion lol!
December 19, 200717 yr I think it's a great song too! Hopefully it can get into the top 10 if not this week then next! The album is going up though, so that's a good thing!
December 19, 200717 yr Hey guys, why are you comparing Change chart position to f.ex. Too Lost In You and saying it's a flop? It is FAR from a flop... There are numerous differences that makes it impossible to draw comparisons without taking the following things into consideration: - This year classic Christmas songs are allowed on the singles chart for the first time. Without them Change would be at #9 in the midweeks. Too Lost In You did not have to fight against Christmas songs. It would have probably been a #14 or so with Xmas songs on the chart (All I Want For Xmas, Last Xmas etc.) - There is a charity single out right now with Eva Cassidy / Katie Melua heavily promoted by Tesco and others, without this it would be #8 - Too Lost In You was released on the back of a MASSIVE movie, "Love Actually" and still only managed to get to #10, Change has had no support from any movie, - The success of a single should be judged by a lot of different parameters, including: Airplay (Change is Top 3, an incredible achievement with About You Now still high in the charts), Album chart position (moving into the top 20 this week because of Change), single sales (#13 midweek, potential top10 after Xmas). - And finally, you can't compare sales figures either without taking into consideration the fact that record sales in general have plummeted over the past few years. So everybody please cheer up and go buy the single so we can get it into the top 10 despite everything we are up against
December 19, 200717 yr Author ^You got a good point but all the same being no.13 in the midweeks just doesn't really sound great however as long as sales are good what does it matter.
December 19, 200717 yr Can every sugababes fan like the single or not and i'm trying not to push but please go buy the single mikey says there could be a possibility of it getting top 10 by sunday just keep buying change

December 20, 200717 yr I feel that it is good enough to go top 10, but it does serve them right for (pointlessley) releasing on the xmas week ... very, very silly idea.
December 21, 200717 yr Author Change is falling on itunes, but the single is still unfortunately at 13 in the midweeks :(.
December 24, 200717 yr Oh well, it will prob go top 10 next week when all the nostalgia from the Xmas songs dies down.
December 24, 200717 yr Author I dont think it will go top 10, this week i think sales will slump all round but christmas songs will still be up there because its tommorow, but next week they will fall however Change wont have enough steam by then to make it....i hope I'm wrong though.

December 25, 200717 yr It won't climb, it'll get lost with the rest of the christmas songs and probably fall fast. They only sold around 11.9k...so much for the "its christmas week so sales will be high" excuse...oh well.
