Posted November 27, 200717 yr Oh dear...Scotland lose their second manager in 11 months to the 'draw' of club management. Well, he's resigned and is expected to be offered the Birmingham City job imminently. He didn't do a great deal as the previous manager gave him a headstart but he's still responsible for some great results. Who can we get in now? Tommy Burns? Joe Jordan? Steve MacLaren!?! Anyone but Souness I'd say.
November 27, 200717 yr Just when things we're looking very good for Scotland too!... Both Scotland and England now looking for new managers. I still think it'll be Billy Davies.
November 27, 200717 yr be ambitious with David Moyes :naughty: and what exact lure could Birmingham possibly have over leading Scotland to the World Cup
November 27, 200717 yr Ren predicted this happening last night. :omggggg: He deserves praise. You missed a "G". ;) I can't see anybody but a low-key Scotish manager taking over. Maybe Gordon Strachan. :o
November 27, 200717 yr Maybe I'm missing something but why swap being manager of the National side for Birmingham? No offence but they're hardly Real Madrid

November 30, 200717 yr As a Celtic fan I'll ignore that statement. I ment it as Scotish managers in general are quite low-key. Gordon is easily the best of these of course. I actually thought he did a good job at Southampton and is working wonders at Celtic.

December 1, 200717 yr I think international management is something that suits people towards the end of their career. They often miss the day to day running which is why people like Gary McAlister and Mark Hughes have both said not now, but in 10 years time yes...

They often miss the day to day running which is why people like Gary McAlister and Mark Hughes have both said not now, but in 10 years time yes... That's basically what I was gonna say.. McLeish probably misses the day-to-day running of club management and working with players everyday and he said that he's always wanted to manage in the Premier League. Some people are underestimating how big Birmingham are, they are a premiership club afterall!
