i don't know what's going on with X factor but i'll take it being number 1

 

1-X factor Winner

2-leona lewis - bleeding love

3-sugababes - change

4-shaun the sheep

5-timbaland

6-mariah carey - all i want for christmas

7-pogues - fairytale of NY

8-slade - merry christmas everyone

9-T2 - heartbroken

10-take that - rule the world

I would have placed Connie Talbot in the top ten, but she's had almost no media coverage or airplay at all for her single(released this coming Monday).

 

Otherwise I think youve got it almost right, not totally sure about Slade.

I hope the Sugas get in there- that would be great! The way they are going, it looks very likely to be top 5 by Christmas!

Soulja boy is guaranteed to be in there.

Malcolm Middleton might be in there...probably a better chance of that than Timbaland or T2 hanging around till then.

 

Also, I think you're being silly about the number of old Christmas songs in there. Yes, some may get back in the top 40 but I don't think any of them will be top 10. They aren't being re-released and people already have a lot of them (or are quite rightly sick to death of them).

Strange - they were last year. And I assume that I've imagined the three entries for Merry Xmas Everybody that are by Slade on iTunes aren't actually there.

Malcolm Middleton is download only isn't it? Surely none of the D/L only songs like the old Christmas ones can get top 5?

And what about the Strictly Come Dancing song that was rumoured last week? Any news on a release date for that ManicKangaroo, please?

I'd have thought The Killers will have a better chance than they majority of Xmas songs. People already have all the oldies but this is a newie.
