Oh, the video gave her a big jump then!
It's one of the most modern Christmas songs on the actual iTunes top 100, I'd much rather have Mariah than the likes of Slade, Pogues & Wham which are way more dated than Mariah!!!!

For me it's the likability of the song, not how old it is that matters and for me the chart is not about the latest releases, but what's most popular to buy each week.

I'm just loving seeing all those classic Xmas tunes charting :dance:

Why is Leon #1 on the album Itunes chart?

His fans are tweenage girls and they haven't figured it out yet? :lol:

It has taken him 1 and a half days to appear, Leona shot up straight away :lol:

 

It was only avaliable to download. And Leona apperared in the bottom top 100 first.

Leon is at the very impressive position of 96 :o Hopefully he'll stay there :lol:

For a comparison:

 

Leona climbed to #1 on the I-Tunes by the equivalent Tuesday morning (see above).

 

By this time Monday night Leona was at #2 on I-Tunes.

 

However, those of you who remember a year ago I-Tunes updated itself less frequently then it does now. But maybe I-Tunes is having trouble updating because of the Leon Jackson single having an abnormally large demand.

 

 

 

I can't see that many Xmas songs in the iTunes chart of 2006 as this year :o

I guess Leon must be selling well... I mean number 1 in the album charts... I reckon I Tunes have just labelled it wrong on their site and its impacting on that chart instead of the singles.

 

Number 1 on msn downloads though and on Amazon in presales

Interesting to see last year's top 100...the xmas songs were in a very different order and most of them much lower down than this year
Leon's song is "Album Only" so you can only buy it as an album hence why it's on the album chart, yet not the song chart.
