chasing cars is top 40 in this weeks midweeks,so looks like it may clock up a few more weeks within the top 75,,it will eventaully get 100 weeks top 75 i think

week 88 in the top 75 and chasing cars falls 5 places to number 64 its total sales are around 470,000 now

geez will this song ever stop :lol:

i hope it wont stop for 12 more weeks i so want this to make 100 weeks in the top 75

'Chasing Cars' has now become the longest-running single in the UK, ever! ;o It dethroned previous record holder, Frank Sinatra with his single 'My Way' which spent 122 weeks in the top 100. 'Chasing Cars' is still charting and snatched the record after totaling 123 weeks on Sunday. . I'm not sure if it's the longest-running top 75 single buttt if it isn't it should come really close

wow this is brilliant news i was so hoping they would beat him and i think it has another few weeks left in the top 100 also

Chasing cars is back in the charts again this week at #39

Also back in the Irish charts this week at #44.
