How did Cassie get to New York? We had a debate in drama today about it, no-one understood.

No-one knows how she got to New York, was such a poorly exectuted plot. Did she have any money, a passport? Would have been much easier and simpler for her to go somewhere like London, Wales, etc. etc. Then to top that off she sleeps for 2 days? Haha.

I hoped she was gonna wake up and be next to the very dead Chris.

Some information concerning series 3;;

 

A pair of twins will be among the characters in the next series of Skins.

 

The entire cast of the show - including Nick Hoult, Hannah Murray and Mitch Hewer - has been dumped to make way for a new gang of teenagers in series three.

 

Jamie Brittain, the show's co-creator, told DS that other new characters will include an Eastern European and a new male character who is "a real nasty piece of work". The new group will be centred around Tony's younger sister Effy, who has appeared in the first two series.

 

The current cast members are unlikely to return in the future, even for guest appearances. Brittain added: "I just can't quite see what the benefit of that would be, other than for them to say 'hi'. We haven't ruled it out, but I think it's unlikely."

Because of everyone saying that the first series was great I decided to buy it from HMV. Despite not having seen it before i'm rather looking forward to it. ^_^

I'm thinking of getting into this. Everyone raves about it. Might watch a few of the first episodes.

I'm looking forward to the next series. These characters are old.

I thought the scene where Tony & Sid stole Chris' coffin with Britney playing in the background was good. :lol: And the car chase scene was good too.

 

 

I didn't like the ending with Effy though, I wish they'd have given the last shot to either Tony or Sid.

I thought it was a very good episode, if a bit sad :(

 

Poor Sketch getting left behind! :( And I liked the ending with Effy, set it up nicely for the next series.

Overall a very good episode... it's sad to say bye to those characters though, especially Cassie, Chris, Sid and Maxxie :(

The car chase scene went all over the place in the real geography of Bristol - they obvs shot it in different segments and put it together. The steps the mini went down in Italian Job stylee actually have railing and a pelican crossing at the end, so the mini would have come a cropper if it really went down there (between St Nicholas St and Baldwin St for those in the local know).

 

The bit in NY at the end with Sid and Cassie was a bit silly - I groaned when it looked like they had just missed each other - so cliched.

 

But, it was probaby the best episode of the series all in all.

I quite liked the Cassie and Sid bit. Was a nice touch when he turned to see her in the cafe, but she had moved. I dunno though, I certainly think it's likely that Jal, Michelle or Tony might come back next series (not as regular characters but as guests and possibly Sketch too, although I do hope she doesn't) but the Anwar, Maxxie, Sid and Cassie storylines have been but to bed and have near to happy endings.

It was alright but it disnt match up to last season's finale, the best bit was the coffin stealing bit though. Chris' dad f***ed me off though, so pretty much he left Chris when he was young, last time Chris went to visit him (last series) his dad wouldnt even see him and then his dad goes to all his mates, the only people who have cared for Chris for the last few years and tells them they cant go to the funeral, what a dick, if i was Sid i would of told him to f*** off. They blatenly should of kept the coffin.

Did anyone else hate the ending? I felt it was so "let's round it up, we've only 15 minutes left".

i wanted it to go on, the first time all series I've wanted an epiosde to keep going and not rush itself :(

Rubbish series. Sensational ending. The MGMT song made it.

 

A few loose ends they could've tied up though. And I really hope that with Sketch being left behind she won't be appearing in the next series. Awful character.

 

The Anwar, Maxxie, Boyfriend going to London bit was quite good though - and the whole opening results around the campfire was nice viewing. Not really what Skins is aiming for on the whole but heyho.

Jal's episode is my favourite one.
