December 10, 200717 yr What are protests going to do about the price, it's not as if OPEC cares what they think
December 10, 200717 yr Author they will block oil refineries from next week then no1 will get petrol and will cause major delyas and will make the news wordwide we should all be for this coz we pay the most in the world i think its stupid
December 10, 200717 yr I doubt delays on UK roads will make worldwide news tbh...and we pay the most because we're one of the few nations that can afford to pay the most, oil is a commodity we're quickly running out of, so of course prices are going to go up if supply can't meet demand...
December 10, 200717 yr yer i reckon when evr1 hears about this people are gunna be rushing to get fuel i work in a forecourt so its gunna be intresting Do you deliberately mis spell or not, because this is a poor reflection of todays education system. Do you wash the windscreens when people drive in to fill up. :)
December 11, 200717 yr yer i reckon when evr1 hears about this people are gunna be rushing to get fuel i work in a forecourt so its gunna be intresting Did you ever pass your English exam, I'm sure writing like that in an Exam would have got an F
December 11, 200717 yr This isn't going to work. Everyone is getting gas before the weekend, which means the oil companies are making the same revenue that they would make that weekend in advance.
December 11, 200717 yr yer i reckon when evr1 hears about this people are gunna be rushing to get fuel i work in a forecourt so its gunna be intresting please STOP writing in text talk, its against the rules in here
December 11, 200717 yr What are protests going to do about the price, it's not as if OPEC cares what they think  It's nowt to do with OPEC's pricing of barrels, it's about the high taxes this Govt puts on fuel, compare the price of a typical gallon/litre of unleaded to the price it costs in France, Germany, the US, etc....
December 11, 200717 yr please STOP writing in text talk, its against the rules in here  Totally, I think we should start deleting posts which use 'txtspk' to a fairly large extent. Oh, and a bit of proof reading would help too.....
December 11, 200717 yr Exactly Scott The tax on fuel is like 80 odd percent :manson: It is cheaper for a lorry to get on board a ferry and fill up in France than it is for a lorry to fill up in a UK petrol station, that is fukkin ridiculous
December 11, 200717 yr It's nowt to do with OPEC's pricing of barrels, it's about the high taxes this Govt puts on fuel, compare the price of a typical gallon/litre of unleaded to the price it costs in France, Germany, the US, etc.... oh scott... dont be silly, you know they are ONLY putting taxes on fuel to stop us poluting the air... you see... they are doing it for our own good!!! <_<
December 11, 200717 yr its not just tax, its the oil companies profit margins. Morrisons is the cheapest local to me for petrol at 99.9 the cheapest Tesco i have seen is 102.9
