Posted December 13, 200717 yr United Kingdom 2000: Nicki French - Don't Play that Song Again y8ltMWwtRrQ http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=y8ltMWwtRrQ This song is absolutely amazing, I didn't understand at the time how it managed to do so badly, and since then I've always fobbed it off as a blip from the UK before our run of disastrous results. But it's a great song. :( So why did it flop everyone? And don't anyone dare scream the old "politics" shebang. We came third two years later remember.
December 14, 200717 yr It sounded like a Steps b-side to me...not good :( Nicki's a legend though...Total Eclipse Of The Heart was great
December 28, 200717 yr This may sound bad - but maybe if someone younger was singing it. Maybe i'm saying that cos she looks like my Great Aunt who is nearly 60 now
December 30, 200717 yr Oh man, Nicki French is SO awful. :( She's like a poundstrecher version of Kelly Llorenna.
December 31, 200717 yr lol! Kelly Llorenna is one of my favourite singers! A lot of people call her the Kiwk-Save of Dance Diva's though
January 3, 200817 yr It was an average song and ended up in the bottom end of the average songs so I guess it did ok. It could have been some five places hinger IMO but not more. But I really did like her Total Eclipse Of The Heart remake. I thought it was really weird that they released the half-tempo version in the UK and the much faster version in the USA. The faster one was so way better and would have done so much better in the UK.
January 6, 200817 yr Oh MY GOD NO! It was our worse ever entry from all the years I've been watching it! Some pointless middle-aged woman singing a completely unmemorable song. The few points we gained from this dismal song were undeserved as it was. Nicki is a legend!... If you enjoy going to a murky gay pub that holds about 30 people.
