Just intrigued to see how many people on this site actually collect either 7" or LP albums? Most relevant to this forum too I thought

I collect them quite avidly, expensive but I love getting sets and all random coloured vinyls and extra bits.

How lame does one sound haha. Still woov<3

Why's this in this forum?

And I bought one last week - 12" Picture Disc of Dannii's new single.

i've bought a few, most recently MIA - Jimmy. I just stuck it to my wall because it was only 99p and looks pretty cool.
I collect them, especially picture discs and coloured vinyls that are limited editions, or rare, got loads of them
If there's a single/song I really like, then I'll go to HMV and buy it as a vanyl, mainly for display purpose though.
I do if they are Enya vinyls.

does enya actually have vinyl releases i thought she would just be cds tho i guess you be getting rare clannad stuff from the 70s or something in record collector.

She has vinyl releases in Enya, Watermark, The Celts, and Shepherd Moons..also various early singles. (I Want Tomorrow, Orinoco Flow, etc.)

I only buy Sophie Ellis-Bextors ones - cos im a fan and need everything of hers - not that I have anything to play them on lol

think my mum has either Shepherd Moons or watermark on tape (newer albums on cd obv!!!!) think its a blue album anyway.

think there is a theaudience tape somewhere in my house as well

They are from the 80's/early 90's. The blue album sounds like Shepherd Moons.

I buy some limited stuff... last ones I bought were Goldfrapp's limited 7" picture disc and the Kate Bush heavyweight vinyl for Aerial.
I've only got TLC vinyls, and those are just to add to my collection.

I have some Britney Spears vinyls, and one vinyl from T.a.T.u.

OH and my mom gave me the Grease vinyl that she got when she was in high-school :D

Hahahaha, the record players are really cheap to buy these days, i think you could pick one up at Argos for about £30. I still have mine that i have had for donkeys years. I do play more CD's now, but every so often i do get my vinyls out and play them

:D I still buy 7" records, but not modern songs as i download these or buy them on CD. I tend to go round charity shops and car boot sales looking for records from the early 90's right back to the 50's. :)

Yes i do too CJ, it's great to look at all the old Vinyl's at car boot sales and Charity Shops, it's unbelievable what you can pick up.

 Yeah, i recently went to a car boot sale on Easter bank holiday and picked up about 30 records including everything from The Carpenters to Black Lace for £6 which i thought was a bargain. Not bad, considering i walked over a mile in the snow to get there. ;) and it was the only stall still standing :)
