Absolutely, I will download tonight. I have been backing him to win for weeks and am so happy! I actually don't know the original but I loved it from the moment he sang it and thought Rhydian's version was bland in comparison, despite having a very good final night otherwise!

I kinda agree. I prefered Leon's version as well and thought that Rhydian did some amazing songs earlier in the show. I don't like the original, but Leon did do a fab job of the song.

I hoped SD would win with Rhydian in 2nd place.

There is more chance of me buying the entire Westlife back catalogue then buying the single of the worst ever winner of a Reality TV competition by a huge margin.

But hey the combination of the Scottish nationalistic vote (well done Alex Salmond this morning congratulating his victory "A great result for Scotland" says it all...., the multiple teen voter, and the anti- anything opera/theatre vote saw him get a totally underserved victory, when quite frankly he was awful.

How he beat Rhydian and SD is beyond me. :angry: Throughout the competition he has hit bum notes, missed his cue and been poor at the start of his performances whereas SD & Rhydian have performed throughout. :( A huge misjustice to the British music scene. ;) But i wish him luck. ;)

Buy it the week after so you don't help his chances of getting #1. Though if you don't like it then its a waste of money buying it in the first place

I expect Eva Cassidy and Katie Melua sales to rise next week to over 100k, after a mini wave of publicity including being mentioned on ITN News tonight. Leon will still get to number one but his sales will be lower than expected.

It's such a shame there isn't a physical for Mariah's All I Want, it would sell by the bucket load next week. :(

Aww I like Leon. :( There is such an unfair amount of hatred towards him. Admittedly, he crazy amount of support from everyone Scottish towards him is cringeworthy, but then Rhydian had that from Wales. I mean, if someone entered from the East Midlands I wouldn't go that mad on them like they have done. :manson: I'm still pleased Leon won though. ^_^
