The song is pretty good but the video is very bland and doesnt go anywhere. You get the idea of it being a magazine shoot in the first 10 seconds but then nothing new actually happens which makes it tiresome.

It seems to have recieved good praise from fans only who just love to see their idols looking all happy and glamourous but it just doesn't do anything for me.

It will miss top 10 unless they do their old trick of releasing in a poor week.

This song isnt as diverse as some are making out either, its sounds like everything else on change - bland and radio friendly pop.

'Tired old trick'? About You Now was released in direct competition with Jennifer Lopez's Do It Well, which looked like a challenger for #1 at the time. Change was released on Christmas week, for god's sake!!

Also there was that week when Push The Button was released against Libery X, T.A.T.U & Jo O'Meara which were all hugely hyped.

Red Dress was up against Kanye's Touch The Sky & Shapeshifters Incredible

In The Middle was out on the Anastacia Left Outside Alone, Blue Breathe Easy, Darkness Love Is Only A Feeling & Kanye's Through The Wire.

Caught In A Moment was out the week 411 Dumb & Maroon 5's She Will Be Loved aswell as Mousse T's Is It Coz' Im Cool.

So tbh  They have never done the "Tired old trick".

lol hardly bleeding love or umbrella is it.

Lets just say for denial to go top 10 they are going to have to find a very very very slack week with no releases.

I'm not "h8a" or ought but I agree with person above ^ It's all good and well spending lots of money on a good video but when the song's poor in comparison it still won't be able to sell.

I see this flopping tbh...

Part of me hopes it does because its such a poor song, its sooooo boring Suprise, My Love Is Pink and Never Gonna Dance again would have all been better choices.

when have they ever done that?

this thread is dedicated to the VIDEO discussion

please kindly keep it as such, not a discussion about release weeks (that comment is total b/s^) or about hoping it will flop

the song's good and a grower but I just find the video very bland and does it no favours.
I can't believe people don't like this song :o I love it <3
I think if you like the Sugababes, you will love this video but i think for a lot of other people its just a bit try hard and bland.

I'm annoyed I still have'nt seen this on TV :(.

I haven't either and i've been flicking through channels like crazy :( Although Caught In A Moment was on Magic before

if you have Virgin Media and you're an XL subscriber it's already on Music On Demand for free (otherwise there is a charge for 24 hours) :cheer:

that's where I premiered it

its not going to hit the music channels till the end of the month at least.

the official site premiered it early for the fans to see.

I dont get why they didn't leave it on their site though as not all fans go on the net everyday and so a lot will have missed it now.

no idea.

its the first time the official has ever done anything like it. they are often weeks behind us in the news.

so i for 1 ain't complaining

I think its better to premiere a video on tv (ch4) or music stations on one day to get a big buzz going around it.

But I thought people said they had already seen it on the box and the hits and that.
