Back For Good is the 100th best-selling single of all time with 968,000 according to Haven's list.

 

I don't know Patience's exact sales but I doubt it's close to that. I'd guess it's their second biggest though.

 

Thanks Tim - I think I've got the same figure(ish) as you from the same source - via denden forum - the actual figure being 959,582 - but that was in May 2005. I would have thought it may have sold a bit more since then.

Angels had sold just under 940K at the end of 2006, selling over 35K in 2006, not sure how much it sold in 07, but it popped up in the top 200 quite a bit as I recall, so could be on at least 960K at this stage. A few more years and it will have passed a million I suspect.

 

Suprised if Wonderwall has indeed sold that much as it was'nt long ago there was a thread on Haven that started it has sold around 960K. :wacko:

I think its between 450k and 500k if you add together its 2006 and 2007 sales...nowhere near Back For Good though obviously...I have no idea how much their 90's singles sold

At least 2 million people would disagree with you :lol: They are both classics and radically different genres - if you think they are both rubbish, what do you like?!
