New interview with Melanie C, I have no idea what either of them are saying it's too quiet and the webcam quality is too poor to lipread. If anyone fancies writing a transcipt would be greatly appreciated!

 

Here it is babes:

 

- She can't wait to get out and perform Blame It On Me live

 

- She feels really lucky that she recorded the videos for WIA and BIOM before lockdown, cos it meant she could release them both during lockdown

 

- The idea behind her being a superhero in the BIOM video came from the video director

 

- She felt a bit weird and anxious during the initial months of lockdown. She felt low. She found doing the Q&As really helpful for her mental health. She said there will be more in the future. Promo for the songs meant she had to prioritise that for the moment.

 

- She felt very protective of her privacy, so having to be so public from her home felt quite right at this time. It allowed her to feel less isolated. She was nervous at first but she feels like the fans have got to meet her in a different way. She feels like her and her fans are like family now.

 

- On celebrating pride month and the LGBTQ+ community: she feels very proud and fortunate to have the following from this community solo and as Spice Girl. She feels energised and outspoken with her support for us.

 

- She is sure she will do more with Sink The Pink in the future. There were other prides that they were booked for.

 

- The whole album is finished now and she says it's not long to go now.

 

- They made a surprise for a fan who is also a health worker. It was a lovely moment.

 

- 2019 was the best year. Spice World and touring Prides. She misses the girls.

 

- Croke Park, first night of Spice World, adrenaline through her veins the whole day, building up. It's all quite scary but as soon as they saw the audience, the nerves just dissapeared. The love and energy was amazing, it was a whole big party.

 

- Even without Victoria, it was the best show they ever done. Victoria knew about all the decisions, and knew about all the details of the show.

 

- The 'The end?' picture at the end of the tour, for her, meant that the Spice Girls will never end. The tour made them excited to do more. For her, it was a beginning, not the end.

 

- She was very much pushing for a proper world tour and she kept pushing for them to visit countries they never been to. To a comment about 'next year' she replied simply 'The World needs Spice Girls right!?'

 

- The album sounds incredible and there's loads more to come. She was listening to it today. Some surprises, and big tunes. We'll hear soon.
