'Denial' is either going to be huge or Buzzjack is just getting a bit hasty in charting the Sugababes, isn't it out in March or something? Even I don't chart songs that early.

I honestly don't see the fuss over the Britney track. It's relatively tune-free and generic, and she still is not looking like the seductive popstar she wants to be, the lyrics suggest she's nowhere near sorting her life out, and if it had been sung by anybody else it would be languishing at #67. The whole thing is just self-indulgent and weak.

There was a thread in the Charts Forum asking if a cat farting into a microphone could make #1. I suspect Britney Spears could do just that and Buzzjack would still go into raptures over it.

You also have to keep in mind that there is a thing called "a difference in music taste". It is already done extremely well worldwide, including places where she usually flops [such as New Zealand] so obviously there is something going for the track besides it being BRITNEY.

Couldn't be anything to do with the ever-increasing media profile then could it?

Whether you want to admit it or not, the song has appeal. Maybe not to your liking, but I could tell instantly it would be a hit right when I heard it. Not to mention that her latest music is the best she has ever released...that my friend, has nothing to do with a [NEGATIVE] media profile.

It's a bit early for me too, I usually chart songs about 4-5 weeks in advance. Unless its a song I'm really obsessed over.

That said, Denial might not even make my chart at all tbh. -_-

LOL...Am I the only person voting for Paramore? :(

Mine left a few weeks ago. It went 55-59 off the top of my head (don't want to boast but i admit i have a ridiculously long memory, though i still forget things)

I wonder if i put Alice Deejay ( ) at no.1 then it might even make an entry on this chart on a week where there aren't many charts

 Unless you can convince 2/3 other people to chart it, it won't make it :(

LOL...Am I the only person voting for Paramore? :(

It's likely to be huge, well peak at #1 anyway. Probably won't last any more than 4/5 weeks at #1 though
