Posted January 26, 200817 yr If the charts were just physical again without downloads On Changes first week it would have charted at 10 Next week would have dropped But the first week of 2008 it would have rose to 5 :o Can you believe that
January 26, 200817 yr See! This is exactly what people thought would happen  That it would become a massive hit in January, after the Christmas stuff effed of. However, because of downloads it did not :(
January 26, 200817 yr i don't get people who just download. I like to hold my CD's  and feel their plasticy goodness
January 27, 200817 yr The trouble with cd singles is you can get them hardly anywhere now and you have to be in town or wait for the delivery to arrive at your door. Its so easy to download a track and have it there and then and able to take it away with you on your mp3 and play it anywhere, blah blah i dont think we need the whole explanation of why downloads are important now. Some acts do better on downloads than physicals so works both ways.

But you can easily rip the CD and take it anywhere with you too plus you can't accidentally delete a CD or have your hard drive blow up losing all of your downloads
February 6, 200817 yr Spice Girls - Headlines would have made #5 on Pysical sales. so if they would have released the CD 2 weeks earlier, ahead of the GH and in the week the DL became available, it could easily have got to maybe #3!
