David sounds like a good singer. I just hope he doesn't become a one hit wonder.

Anyway, I think this one has an outside shot of making the top 5 in 2 weeks.

And Booty Luv (21)

Mary was on drugs for a considerable part of her career but is well known to have kicked the habit a few years back.

And both 'One' (UK #2) and 'MJB da MVP' have charted since BWY.

I knew that part of Mary's career about drugs in the 90s but I was referring to the same drug several famous sports athletes have been doing in the past few years. also it is only a rumour which means Ms. Blige may not have dond steroids recently.

Also, you are right about MJB da MVP in which hit top 40 at the end of '06

Britain’s favourite four piece Take That have written and recorded a soaring new song entitled 'Rule The World' for the latest epic big screen production from acclaimed film director Matthew Vaughn for Paramount Pictures called 'Stardust'.

This will be the first time the band have written and recorded a song specifically for a film. Grammy Award-winning producer John Shanks (who also produced the band’s current album ‘Beautiful World’) worked on the musical arrangement for the track which was recorded with the band at Abbey Road Studios which is also where they shot the video. The video and the recording of the track also features the Millennia Ensemble, an 18 piece string ensemble.

'Stardust' isn’t just any film, it’s been dubbed "this autumn’s escape into enchantment" and features an all star cast including Robert De Niro, Sienna Miller, Ricky Gervais, Claire Danes, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sir Ian McKellen and Rupert Everett to name but a few and will be in UK cinemas from October 19th. - HMV

16  (from 17) Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love [P]

The wait is over. 'Bleeding Love' is the first single to be released from Leona Lewis’s highly anticipated debut album, 'Spirit'. Since winning the X Factor in 2006, Leona has been recording and writing for her album, taking her time to get it absolutely right. 'Bleeding Love' gives us the first glimpse of what we can expect and is well worth the wait. 'Bleeding Love' was written and produced by LA’s hottest emerging talent, Ryan Tedder, whose credits include Mary J Blige, JLO, Timbaland and Natasha Bedingfield.

Leona Lewis was the first X Factor winner with international potential. In December 2006 she won the X Factor and had a massive Christmas Number 1 hit with 'A Moment Like This', the most downloaded track in the UK of last year, with an amazing 50,000 downloads in the first half hour alone. This immediately thrust Leona to having the biggest ever debut single for a female artist. As Simon Cowell simply put it: “She’s mesmerising. I literally couldn’t believe how good she was.” People were quick to compare Leona to the likes of Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey, which is good company to be in, but Bleeding Love is set to remind people that she has her own unique sound.

Leona set off to the US in February of this year to perform an intimate industry only showcase hosted by the legendary Clive Davis. Leona has since has been working with Dallas Austin, Soulshock and Carlin, Jam and Lewis, Walter Afanasieff and Salaam Remi. Between them they have worked with artists such as Amy Winehouse, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Usher, TLC and Michael Jackson. Every track on her forthcoming debut album has the potential to be a single. The album has been executively produced by Simon Cowell and Clive Davis. - HMV

I totally agree actually - and my mate who has the album adores it as well. I think I would prefer it unreleased though, as it will stay a great album track and not be a flop single....

Good point. I would love it to be released and have the sucess of "Valerie" (without the chart run :P ) but I don't think it's as radio-friendly as "Valerie" and would flop. Let's just keep it as a rather fantastic album track. :D
