I DID overreact slightly as at that time we were trying to run a Hit40 thread on another board on Sunday afternoons when some of the regular members got their knickers in a twist over us even mentioning HFUK on the main chart thread. September 15, 200816 yr What is the point of this chart? The same top 10 as the official chart, plus another 30 records in a seemingly random order If people are complaining about the slowness of the official chart, this one still has "Better In Time" and "Apologize" in it!

I do hear it pretty often on Chiltern and Hereward FM though, which are supposed to feed into the Hit40UK chart. Another one which I hear numerous times is Timbaland/OneRepublic's "Apologise" - which also doesn't go away (this week's #31). I'm surprised Irene Cara's "Flashdance" isn't in the Hit40UK, because that seems to be played numerous times on the above and other commercial stations when I've been driving up and down the country! :)

Do think it's funny how many "stroppy" replies there are in this thread though - thanks for earlier message explaining things to Kellyana. We'll have to put a health warning on this thread or anything connected with Hit40UK. Leona's "Better In Time" exited the chart (finally!) after your message, so you must have some influence :dance: , though she's back with "Forgive Me"! I notice that Timbaland has finally exited as well. I guess that will be a re-entry next week or the week after! :)
