They get loads of downloads weeks before actual release so in effect, you are relying on fans to buy physicals on the opening week. Some acts get in the top 10 with 3rd and 4th singles though so they may do it. Its very early days yet.

February 14, 200817 yr good, but bad also. its good, because if it hits the main chart, and climbs it, it'll hit the top 40 (eventually) and the album could get a kick u the arse. however, if it charts in the top 40 wihtin the next few weeks, its peak position could be affected, and badly. but then again its all about the sales. or as the girls would say. "its about the music, not the face"

February 14, 200817 yr Songs can still climb and do well later though. Look at fergies BGDC and rihanna DSTM. It needs to keep climbing itunes though and do well on downloads, especially on 17th of March. I dont expect high physicals for denial.
