We didn't deserve to win when we only played good football for the last 15mins. :(

Spurs were the deserving winners - had the best oppotunites and were the best side.

I've gotta say though, I thought Chelsea were hard done by at the very end when they were through on goal and the whistle was blown. Saying that however, they hit the post from that chance!

Well Done Spurs.

The best side on the day won.

Chelsea lost due to selecting the English duo of Lampard & Terry who clearly were not fully match fit. I'm sure Alex & Ballack would have been far more effective. Whilst what was the point of playing Anelka on the wing? = Bizarre.

no they weren't, they had nearly 130 minutes to score, and the referee can blow when he wants. Just throwing thier toys out of the pram as usual Gallas style ^_^

Glory Glory Tottenham Hotspurs & The Spurs go marching on. Ramos is the Cup king. Now for the UEFA Cup. :P

Spurs so deserved this win. Outplayed them at the start and towards the end. There's only One Woodgate & Ramos. :D

I disagree on the Anelka point. He's played there very effectively in the same system for Bolton.

I agree time was over, but refs have to be consistent. There was a period in time where he let play go WAY over the time allowed, yet in contrast to that he didn't. You could say he was just making things more even which is all very well but refs have to be consistent, or, they should be at least.

We were a victim of that against Man Utd, cost us 2 points

The ref said 3 mins of injury time and Utd scored after 3 mins and 14 secs so it is fair that it was evened out today

In fairness though, the corner was awarded before the 3 minutes was up :P

For gods sake does it really matter? Kalou hit the bar with the shot anyway  Had he scored, i would see your argument.

I wouldn't, if Drogba wasn't waggling fingers at Tainio even though the ref was dealing with him, wasting his own team's time then that time could have allowed the ball to creep in the net from a rebound

To make it fair for everyone so that there is no inconsistencies they should bring in the basketball / american football thing where the klaxon goes EXACTLY at the point that the injury time has finished and injury time blowing is out of the hands of the referees, if there is 3 mins of injury time allotted then it should end at exactly 93 mins and if there is a good move going or a corner or whatever then tough titties, the teams have had 90 odd mins to have a good move, time is up, game over
but it's a MINIMUM of x added minutes of time. What if there's an injury, players would just abuse it, rolling around after 90 minutes, covering their faces so the physio has to come on, until a klaxon or whatever went.
And I bet all the pillocks with the posh seats don't return until the hour mark because lunch is soooo much more important

Like I said a couple weeks or so ago, I had VIP treatment for the Scotland EC qualifiers vs Ukraine and Italy, and I think Saskia and myself were getting odd looks 'cos we were going out in time for the start of the second half.

It doesn't matter really but it should just be noted. I thought the ref had a really good game yesterday anyway and I was pleased Spurs won. I did secretly want them to win on penalties though. :P
