The Pipettes album is brilliant, most of their songs are short, snappy and memorable and would be great for Eurovision especially Pull Shapes or Dirty Mind

LoveShy - Ridiculous song tbh, they were capable of amazing songs but it was nothing special with ropey vocals - 3/10

The Revelations - Ok song i guess but the vocals were hardly anything special - 5/10

Rob McVeigh - I Owe It All To You - Pretty good song and vocals werent too bad, nothing wow but its good - 7/10

Simona Armstrong - Sounds like a Shania Twain b-side, not bad, but rather average except for that catchy chorus, vocals are good to - 6.5/10

The weakest category in my opinion, I think Simona will go thru to the next phase, but she won't get the votes, the track seems to be all over the place.

Joseph Vs Maria

Rob- I owe it all to you

Okay i am aware this is the only ballad in "Your Decission" or whatever it is called. Rob is a good vocalist, but there was on overuse of the backing singers, and the song lyrically is not that good at all. I also think this would do really badly at eurovision, as male vocalists tend to do badly and it is just so boring there was nothing to it. Serbia one with a big ballad last year but that had something to it, and i feel lots of countries will send ballads this year so we need to send something else to get noticed insted of following in the trend of last years winner. If it goes to eurovision will be bottom 5 at best.

Simona- Changes

Okay i dunno what it is but this sounds really familiar. Once again a good vocal preformance, but this time the song is much better lyricaly. I think this could do well in eurovision because of the more europian tone to her voices. However again this song overuses the backing singers, and i feel like the female backing singers actualy sound better in places than Simona herself. If it goes to eurovision it will be middle of the rankings i think.

I quite liked that song! :o I hope Simona gets through, but the judges will pick Rob.
Ok song but she's hitting a few bum notes

But waaaaay better than the borefest before.....

Rob McVeigh v Simona Armstrong

Rob McVeigh: Tonight Terry (Wogan) I'm going to be Gary Barlow, with a song that sounded like it was written and rejected for Take That's comeback album. Good vocals, but terribly dull. Zzzzzzzzz. 4 out of 10

Simona Armstrong: The only problem singing a song called Changes, is that you are going to fall very short compared to the David Bowie standard. I quite like this and at least she has an interesting sounding voice that would go down well in Eastern Europe seeing as she is Romanian. 7 out of 10

The Result: Yesssssss!!!!! I expected Rob to go through, so I am pleased.

So far so good, the right two gone thru, hopefully Michelle sails through, as musically wise she has more experience then the Binman
 holy cr@p, this is laughable, R&B music in the Eurovision will not go down very well. nul point.
This actually isn't that bad! Probably my distant second best so far from the binman

Andy Abraham - He's a good singer i guess, pleasant song, just drifted by, ive already forgotten it - 5/10

Michelle - Very catchy this is, would be good for eurovision, great vocals too, probably my fav - 8/10

Julie and Ludwig  A No.1 in my chart in 2004!

Here are my comments so far

Loveshy: Good song, Amy's voice was very shaky so I wouldn't trust them to do well at Eurovision

song mark: 8/10 performance mark: 4/10 overall: 6/10

The Revelations: I loved this, great pure pop song, currently No.1 in my chart and I thought the vocals were fine...

song mark: 10/10 performance mark: 8/10 overall: 9/10

Rob McVeigh: I don't mind the song but the performance was dull and would be lost in Belgrade though he had very good vocals

song mark: 7/10 performance mark: 5/10 overall: 6/10

Simona Armstrong: I have to say that up until now I didn't think much of this song but her live performance was excellent and I would be quite happy if she won :o

song mark: 7/10 performance mark: 9/10 overall: 8/10

Andy Abraham: Not a bad song, not a bad performance...doesn't really go anywhere or standout and would do nothing in Belgrade

song mark: 5/10 performance mark: 5/10 overall: 5/10

Michelle Gayle: Backing vocals are a bit overpowering, the songs a bit dated. I love Michelle and she has a very powerful voice but its a bit cheesy and it would be an embarrasment if we sent this

song mark: 3/10 performance mark: 6/10 overall: 4.5/10

My rankings

1. The Revelations

2. Simona Armstrong

3. Rob McVeigh

4. Loveshy

5. Andy Abraham

6. Michelle Gayle

Michelle's song reminds me of My Toot Toot for some odd reason by Denise La Salle, I dunno really its seems messy, I think the Binman stands a better chance in this round
