I really wanted to like this song, but the dancing is really bad and the song isn't that great.

wooooo yeaaaah - not exactly challenging lyrics :kink:

Soloists

Andy V Michelle

Andy- Even If

I think he is lieing about watching eurovision lol. Okay i hate this straight away. It sounds really familier, i dunno why but I feel like i have heard this before and I know I havent....... This is seriously not good, i am allready hoping he doesn't get through via beating michelle or the wildcard, but i fear he will get through one of the ways.

Michelle- Wooh (You Make Me)

Oh dear, what is she wearing? Again this sounds like something i have heard before, i dunno what it is lol. Better than Andy by miles, but I don't like it that much. Good vocal but sounds to familiar to do well i think.

I am hoping Michelle will make it to the final 4. I suppose from the losers the least bad would be Loveshy or Rob, i just hope neither of them two get picked to represent us. From the six the only one that has a realistic chance of getting us a desent positon is Simona and Changes.

she did -_-

So far the right 3 have went thru, but Michelle's sounds a bit dodgy to me.

I hope LoveShy gets the Wild Card.

Wow, Michelle Gayle through to the final 4, who would have thought it! Still, her live performance is better than the song is at least

Andy Abrahams v Michelle Gayle

Andy Abrahams: The start of the song reminds me of Sydney Youngblood's 1989 hit If Only I Could. Unfortunately it quickly tails off into mediocrity. I guess as a former dustbin man Andy is used to dealing with rubbish, which is exactly what this song is. Good vocals. But the whole performance reminds me of a musical interlude by the Drifters or the Stylistics on 3-2-1 circa 1978. 2 out of 10

Michelle Gayle: I presume she has got this far, due to her husband ex-Footballer Mark Bright who is an expert pundit for the BBC (he was on Radio 5 Live commentating on Arsenal v Aston Villa today). This reminds me of a filler album track on a Gabrielle or Beverly Knight album trying to be Outkast's Hey Ya and failing miserable due to the suspect vocals. But a great visual performance should swing it. 5 out of 10

This is easily the weakest pairing due to the awful songs. I think the judges are getting confused by their comments as the last time I looked I did not think the Eurovision Song Contest took place in America. Still the best song went through.

3 out of 3

1. The Revelations

2. Michelle Gayle

3. Andy Abrahams

4. Simona Armstrong

5. LoveShy

6. Rob McVeigh

That's how I'd rank the songs
