Aww sorry mate!

We figured that seeing as we are so close all of your peoples could just hop over the border and see some of our home concerts (they're certainly very welcome to) but we'll make sure you feature on our next tour ;-)

Great, thanks!

I'll make sure to let everyone know. The people of Greenfroze appreciate it's neighbours, and should greet your artist/s luxuriously ^_^

listening to Tina Parol for the second time now, I'm quite surprised you like this song and therefore very surprised you sent it!

it's the sort of thing I'd send to which I'd expect you to respond 'this is the type of Rontvian entry I hate :puke:' the chorus sounds like something Mira Craig would record to be honest  although I guess it has a slighty more singer/songwriter feel to it in the verses than in a typcial Mira song

I do really like this song though on the second listen, it's a grower!

seriously I'm shocked at many songs are entering the contest after I have reserved 6-7 contests ago and totally forgot about those :o...I'm happy that in the end they get the attention and recognition they deserve.

I only dislike your puketastic tracks such as Mira and Maria (?), Sanna and Pixie which were just really dull and then you're totally bizarre ones like Mira, Sound of Arrows (school choir?!) and the Jungle Drum one. I'd call Tina pretty mainstream pop and similar to say Belinda or Janet Leon.

I'm not saying this is my favorite track I've ever sent but it's one which I enjoyed listening to over the summer. Hopefully this month's tour will be as widespread as the last one and might win her a few fans.

it's much more quirky than Belinda/Janet, particularly in the chorus, if I sent it (which I may have done had I heard it before), I'd put it in the 'bizarre pop' category along with Hafdis Huld, Emiliana Torrini and Mira :o this is a complement though, I love quirky pop! I try to steer away from sending it these days, I had been thinking about sending this;

but I think it would have gotten on people's nerves and been called annoying  still love it though, it can be a secret guilty pleasure of mine

:puke2: Yes indeed that song is annoying - thank you for not sending it :P

I really don't see how Tina is querky at all though - She's just some pretty generic American pop singer who got hooked up with a really catchy track. Maybe it's just because I've looked at some of her other stuff and it's very much part of that mega-mainstream Kelly Clarkson wannabe school of music.

 you're welcome, I knew it would get that type of reaction! it's doing quite well in various parts of Europe though so it's liked by some :heehee:

never heard of her before so I don't have any preconceptions about her, I'm just calling it as I see it with this track, and the chorus does sound quirky to me...I'll have to have a listen to some of her other stuff but it doesn't sound too promising from your description there, I'm not a fan of Kelly Clarkson wannabe's in general

I'll try and stick a couple in there when Tina tours in Rontvia ;) She's only got an EP atm so not a huge number of songs to judge her by but that seems to be the way she's going.

I think you need to listen again but turn it up a bit louder this time :P

I did that and it kinda went down to a 50/100 now.

You want me to listen again?

hmm - You're obviously not listening right - Stick with it I'm sure it'll come to you!

Ok, done.

I'm at 00/100 now. :P

Nah, I guess I just don't like it too much and repeatedly listening to it won't help. ;)
