People compare Claire to "The Badger"... I think that's a totally wrong comparison.. There's no way in hell that The Badger would've let the task slide like that, she'd've grabbed the bull by the horns, told Kev he was being a tw@t and took charge of things.. And, she'd've probably recognised the whole idea of "Environment Cards" was a stupid idea anyway....

The big difference with Ruth Badger and Claire is that Ruth Badger had (and presumably still does) incredible business skills to offer. All Claire can do is smirk - the only way she'll win the Apprentice is through other people losing it. I know for a fact that had Ruth Badger been asked at the eleventh hour to do the pitch (which Kevin was obviously begging towards the end) - even if she had just 30 minutes to prepare - she'd have bailed him out and probably saved the day (half-arsed idea or not). This is because - besides her own skills - Ruth has another essential quality which none of this lot have - and that is she's a 'team player'.

I'm still waiting for the Lego Play People's episode of the Kev firing - they must have something special in mind - because the Lindi one was up the next night!

Are "Gingers" a race as such though....? At the end of the day, you're all still Caucasian.... :P

A lot of Irish/Scots are ginger (I'm dark blonde however, well, my natural hair colour is), so I can't really be 'racist' against many of my own folks can I....?

I'm not categorising gingers as a race. I was trying to say mocking someone because of their hair colour is just as bad as mocking someone for their skin.

But in the same post you mocked her because she has a huge chin, well it was put in the same way that Grimly saind ginger... Surely if calling someone because of the way they look should count for anything and therefore you're a tad hypocritical?

Not really. It's f***ing massive

You're not being chinnist! It is bloody enormous! Jimmy Hill and Bruce Forsythe combined would be proud of that one!

Well, her chin's fukkin' massive, and her hair is very Ginger....

TBH though, is she really that level of ginger naturally....? ;) I'm detecting the hint of 'bottle ginger' with her....

Er, no, I dont really think it is actually..... Especially when I have some doubt as to whether her hair is naturally that colour anyway....

I'm not advocating violence or prejudice towards ginger people the way that racists do.... So, it aint the same thing.... Calling someone a "Ginger Trannie" (which has an obvioius humourous context) is not the same thing as calling someone a "Black B/astard" or a "Jewish C/unt" (neither of which have the slightest humourous contexts)...... Not even close mate...

you're right I don't think her hair is natural ginger, it looks slightly too dark...she seems to have brown roots underneath it...

compared to my hair which is practically orange :P

Surely that chin can't be natural?

Well Kevin's departure was overdue. He was only saved in Week 3 by Ian's non-existant leadership.

I cannot recall ONE moment in the series where he has featured, and NOT come across as an utter buffoon. A total delusional twit, and I thoroughly enjoyed his being ripped to pieces on the You're Fired aftershow, I don't remember many of the other contestants being booed like that. Or being so unanimously told by the audience and the panel that Sirallun made the right choice.

Anyways, high time for a contestant rank...

1. LUCINDA - She may be completely rubbish in the tasks, but how many comedy moments has this woman provided? Deciding the best way to sell herself to Sirallun (owner of Amstrad) in the boardroom was to declare "I am technically USELESS"? Proposing AND getting away with selling avocado ice cream? Suddenly blurting out Helene's views on "evil" Jennifer M in front of pretty much everyone? Or just wandering about in a daydream in her fetching little berets and glow-in-the-dark dresses? NEVER has there been a person so fantastically out of place on a business programme. ADORATION.

2. RAEF - Who would have thought after that first week that Raef would become the sole Voice of Reason in the show. Consistently competent, knowing when to keep his head down, but also standing up for people in those nasty little instances of all-on-one bullying. Judging so far, he should win. Which means he is going to do a Simon and get himself chucked out next week.

3. HELENE - I know she's probably not the most popular, and I honestly can't explain it, but there's something about Helene I like. Although she can be a vicious trollop when she wants to be, it seems to be done for genuine reasons rather than pure vindictiveness. She was quite willing to heap praise on her sworn enemy Lucinda in Week 5. I also recall her being quite the calming presence on the girls team in the pub task.

4. SARA - First impressions were not good. The pre-contest shots of her bigging herself her up suggested she was going to be yet another fiery, arrogant mare. In reality, she NEEDS to take on a bit more of that persona. Those last couple of minutes last episode were horrible to watch. Maybe there was some unseen footage that would explain the hostility towards her, but at the moment, she is getting my sympathy. I don't think she's done a particularly bad job on any of the tasks, which is more than can be said for most of the others. And she DID make suggestions in the card task, there was clear footage of Jenny shouting her down.

5. CLAIRE - I suspect it's not so much Chavette improving, but the others becoming WORSE. But Claire has gone up in my rankings the last couple of weeks. I don't think Sirallun's rant has had as much of an effect as he thinks; you can still see her smirking whenever anybody else is getting ripped to pieces. But she's being more clever about it, and she's toned down her in-your-face personality. And I'm finding I'm agreeing with her more and more, she does seem to have sussed most of the others out now.

6. JENNIFER M - Was not a fan of the way she escaped in the ice cream task; she made a bigger c**k-up than Lindi over the whole exclusivity issue. But I did laugh when she tried and failed to get the compliments she was fishing for from the others, when she told them what Nick had said about her being an ice queen.

7. LEE - Lee McQueen hadn't done a bad job of nuffink, despite his speech issues. But then Lee McQueen revealed himself to be a right aggressive tosspot when he tried to rip Sara apart at the house.

THE GET RID LIST

8. MICHAEL - He was lucky his team won, because judging by what was shown on Wednesday, he was just as woeful a team leader as Kevin was. Happy Boob Job Day? SERIOUSLY. He was carried by the others. Although, possibly THE moment of the series when he had his little celebration in the boardroom. God Bless Margaret. Her face was PERFECT.

9. JENNY - How the f*** has Celery avoided the axe after momumentally stuffing up TWO tasks. I still haven't worked out how she avoided taking any of the blame for the card task failure. Destroying her OWN idea in front of a potential buyer, and then sitting back and blaming Sara? She's DIABOLICAL.

10. ALEX SMUG. t***.

Predictions;

Lucinda out next.

Raef and Lee in the final.

Margaret  <333

Poor Sara, i felt so sorry for her. She did contribute and suggest ideas. I remember a religious one she suggested? Much better idea than that one the "ginger t*****" came up with.

Lee was awful towards Sara, so god bless Raef for standing up for her. I actually think he will probably win this now...

I'm so sick of everyone going on about how ZOMG AMAZING Alex is  Total knobhead, arrogance is not something i like and tbh i've seen better looking donkeys on blackpool pier.

:heehee: This made me laugh sooo much! Pretty spot on all round, really. My contestant rank:

---LOVE---

1. Lucinda

I worship this godly lady. She has the perfect balance of comedy moments and actual ability; sure, she's rubbish with technology but she can organise a team impeccably without causing any real conflict, which is no mean feat given the other contestants' willingness to jump down somebody's throat at the drop of a hot. Furthermore seeing her in matching pink short-gloves and a trademark beret made me coo. In short, she's the epitome of fabulous! Lee McQueen has his eye on her too, me thinks, but I'm not sure the 'compliment' is returned; she was cringing behind her hands when Lee told Sara just what he thought of her!

2. Claire

Again, what a perfect blend of real capability and sheer hilarity this woman is! I love everything about her style; how she just says what she thinks to people's faces without holding back (bitchy she might be, but at least she's not often a backstabber); how she speaks slowly and clearly in an almost patronising mann-eeer to emphasise her poi-oint; and her accent and the way she pronounces her own name as 'Claa-arr', which is nothing short of amazing. I also love that the cameraman seems to like to focus on her behind when she walks; that wobble factor is second to none! She is actually quite sexy too.

3. Raef

The closest thing, from what we have seen, to a truly nice guy in the house, and definitely more than capable. The man is such a confident, smooth talker that he seems able to nail most pitches without breaking into a sweat. His sticking up for Sara that night in the house was truly admirable, too. He always has a wonderful taste n jumpers; flourescent pink, anyone?

---LIKE---

4. Lee

Well, he has gone down in my estimations a tad since his vicious attack on Sara that night, but Lee McQueen is still a top man. Confident and very able, from what we've seen so far; he doesn't (often) get involved in pointless team politics (with the exception of the aforementioned event) but he is also willing to stick his neck on the line to benefit the team. He's a player, in other words. Lee McQueen could be in this to win it! Lee McQueen could win my competition any day, too. *Swoon*.

5. Sara

She does seem rather likeable if a slight mousey-type. It does seem that whenever she speaks nobody ever listens to her, though, and I'm sure there has to be some reason for this; is she a secret bitch but the cameras just aren't showing us those bits? A lot of her ideas seem to revolve around her own culture, too, which whilst nice isn't necessarily very mainstream.

6. Helene

I'm torn! Helene appears to be very reasonable and certainly very grounded a lot of the time; she doesn't often seem to celebrate a victory prematurely, only to be made to look a fool later; in short, she's realistic. However she also seems determined to find fault with Lucinda. Whilst she was able to put aside their differences and say that Lucinda was a great time leader in that task, it was as though she only did that because she literally had nothing to pick at, and as soon as Lucinda aired Helene's opinion to the boardroom (in justification of her team-mixing idea), Helene gave a very odd reaction; it was like 'damn, I thought you were going to keep that quiet and now I'm going to have to pull a strained face so as to suggest it isn't true when we all know damn well it is'; she's definitely sly. Could go far though...

7. Jennifer M

Her attempt at condolance in the house when she told the other contestants she had been called 'icy' remains probably my second-favourite comedy moment of the series so far. The reaction was just pure 'and?', haha. Brilliant. However icy she may be, though, it's clear that she is very capable. She has a very professional manner which could get her very far. I can imagine she'd definitely survive the interview task if she gets that far, and make it through into the final, although I wouldn't pick her as my winner.

---DETEST---

8. Alex

Nothing to say about this guy other than that he is utterly, painfully useless. What has he contributed in ANY task? He merely delegates tasks to his teammates and stands there being disgustingly weak and doing absolutely c**p all. What a WASTE of space. I also fail to comprehend how the female and gay population of the country are in love with him; why? He's a bloody dog! Looks like a tramp fresh from the gutter. Foul.

9. Michael

Oh. Dear. A tiny part of me almost wants to like Michael, but the other 98% of me speaks with my head and tells me he's an absolute moron. His sole intention on the show, it seems, is to harp on and on about how his teammates are utter c**p and he's the business, but what the hell has he actually ever done? He's c**p at business, he whines onnn and onnn in that absolutely foul tone of voice he employs. Seriously hideous man.

10. Jennifer Celery-Slag

What an utterly munt-tastic piece of dog meat this sour old bitch really is. Ohmigod, I so hate her. I could possibly forgive that her chin is on the verge of invading France and that her celebrations and (fake) laughter are so cringingly goofy that I often have to hide behind a pillow ('We did it! We held out and we got that deal in the end!!', anyone? Or how about the truly scary enjoyment of that Bollywood dancer...I'm scarred for life.) What I can't forgive is her dispicable victimisation of another teammate each task, be it Lucinda or Sara, in which she decides she wants rid and does her utmost to show Sir Alan that she is going to get rid of that poor person. Thankfully I think he can see through the dragtastic mare's plans. I seriously hope she gets a dagger of ice through the heart chin.

Oh its all TOO TRUE

I love Claire she is by far my favourite. Lucinda is pretty $h!t i think, but the entertainment value is amazing from her. Just seeing what vile ensemble she will be wearing each week is enough to watch tbh..
