So glad Nicholas went.

What an absolute t***!

Alex is lovely :kink: :)

Alex is lovely ... but something tells me he's going to be the 'Adam' of the last series.

Wasn't Nicholas a condescending prat!

Personally - I think Sir Alan should sack the lot of them and hire one of the lobsters as his apprentice!!  They'd do a damn sight better job!

Norma

God what a stuck up t***...

The way he brought 'education' into it! Hasn't he watched the bloody show? Doesn't he know that alone would make Sir Alan kick his snotty ass out!

Another thing on Nicholas ... he prided himself on his 'superior' upbringing and education. I should imagine someone like that has lobster served most nights of the week .... so he should bloody-well know what price to put on it. As you so eloquently put 'stuck up tw*t!

Norma

As suggested by Harve ... can someone move this to the 'reality' TV forum?

Norma

Right person got fired tonight. Nicholas was a t*** tbh

He was a right tw*t. But I didn't think much of the other toffee-nosed git with him. Never trust a bloke whose name is Ralph (Ralf) but pronounces it Ray-fe! Git!

Alex needed to go. -_- He bullied his team mates, played the down-to-earth, humble card in the boardroom and generally threw his weight around as if he'd already won the bloody thing. HATE him already.

On the whole tonight's episode wasn't so good, I didn't think. :( I do LOVE Lindi though - she's the one who claims her ancestors were the royal family in Africa. :heehee: She dresses like some high-class teenage prom queen, I love it! <3

His name is spelt Raef so I think it is his name...

Well Nicholas certainly didn't help himself in that boardroom, bit of a wet fish who avoided the main issues. He really could have picked up on SO many things to make Alex and Raef look bad, but he just started going on about art instead. Moronic. I'm surprised Sir Alan let that little debate go on so long, it really was petty and irrelevant to the task. And telling a former Premiership chairman that he didn't like football; was not a smart move.

But he was a horrifcally smarmy up-his-own-arse t***. And as such was potentially fantastic television. I feel the series may well have missed an opportunity with him :( However this Raef guy looks promising, clearly this year's Syed/Tre.

Alex was a pretty rubbish team leader, bellowing at his team like that in the street. And I swear I heard him say he was an experienced fisherman...so why leave it until the end to point out that the fish had been labelled wrong?! And his instructions on pricing to Nicholas WERE unclear. But he can be partially forgiven as he has nice lips.

Although the girls won, few of them really stood out like the blokes did, apart from that "making money, making money, making money" girl, she looks like she could go on to be the series psycho.

You really think so? :o

I thought he was damn right - it was Raaaayf and Nicolas' balls-up that led to the team losing about £13 per lobster sold - Alex should have checked the prices, sure, but that was such a disaster, Alex was right to say they should be able to get something that simple right. Who the f*** charges a fiver for a lobster, such a ridiculous balls up, whoever was responsible for that deserved to go. I'd have kicked off if I was Alex aswell.

The smaller clique in the boys were completely hypocritical aswell - in the car Michael was saying that 'Alex's Team' would try and drop them all in it, then as soon as they got in the boardroom, who was throwing the malicious comments around?!

Alex and Lindi are my favourites <3

Alan was well harsh with his 'a house for posers like you' comment at the start, no :o What's more posey than sitting in your helicopter reading a broadsheet for the cameras!?

What it comes down to, is Nicholas tied his own noose when he said "educated vs salesmen"

Alan DETESTS stuck up snobs who think education is everything, and to consider ONE B at GCSE a failure is f***ing pathetic!! Good riddance. And Jark, how exactly did Alex "bully"? He was playing fair

James, we've had this argument already and I think you're being over the top. -_-

Now let's ALL appreciate Lindi. <3

African Royalty.

Didn't Makosi claim to be African royalty aswell!? How many Royal's are there?!

Then again, Makosi said a lot of things

Alex was not playing fair at all. He chose to carry his arguments out in public in front of customers and colleagues. And he was well aware of the pricing and labelling beforehand, as team leader it was his responsiblity aswell, it's no good him passing the buck as soon as the team is caught out.

That's the thing though isn't it - he can try, but can't be 100% responsible for everything ... it's just not possible for a team leader to have everything down 100%. Something as stupid as £5 per lobster should have been noticed by Alex, sure, but it should also have been noticed by Nicholas who had nothing else to concentrate on - if I was a team leader I'd expect people to do the tasks I'd assigned them properly, but maybe that's why I'm not a millionaire . If everything something goes wrong we say 'well the team leader should have noticed', how do they stand a chance?!

I'm pretty sure he DID notice though, and it was only later when they saw what the other stalls were selling them that it hit them what had happened.

Maybe I am mis-remembering, but I do recall him shouting to Nicholas "£4.90 for the lobster" or something.

I also wasn't a fan of the way he descended to Nicholas' level in the boardroom, he too was avoiding talking about the actual task. It became a petty personal catfight.

Lindi  I'm a fan already.

I would have been happy if any of the three went today. I didn't like any of them. I think the worst one went though. ^_^

I didnt mind whether it was Alex or Nicholas that got fired. Both came across as complete useless t****.

I love Claire and Lindi so far...

Lindi  I'm a fan already.

Full truth! Loved when she was like "Turkey? Is that we're they're from or are they ... well, they're obviously not friggin turkeys innit!"
