April 16, 200817 yr Wasn't Lindi the one that came up with the "24 Hour Hotline" on the laundry task that only ran for 14 hours anyway! I mean - she's cute - but she's probably the dumbest of the lot! And she's got some competition in the dumb stakes! Exactly! All of them are knob-heads, we might aswell keep the comedy for a while!! Helene was useless as expected tonight. Fair enough, she won the task, but picking someone who's weak at something and delegate them a task you know they can't do is the slyest trick in the book, and a really low tactic to be able to point it on them in the boardroom. And she downright lied when Lucinda told Suralan that she told Helene she wouldn't do the task well, when she was "NO YOU DID NOT, LUCINDA!" You'd think she'd have learned from Ian last week - "don't lie on the telly"!! And I don't blame Alex at all for backing off from "second-in-command". He was right, Simon was looking for someone else to blame, which is exactly what he did with Claire. "I'm a scapegoat" is thrown around a lot in The Apprentice, but I think Claire was made into one a bit - she was someone else to blame when Simon lost control.
April 16, 200817 yr Alex has to win. He's so f***ing fit. Oh errr and he seems like a good business man too. :D Haha, no, really he does. ^_^
April 16, 200817 yr exactly. Claire was the scapegoat, not the one who got away. Alex and Jenni also lied on tele, can't wait till karma visits them
April 16, 200817 yr tbf simon deserved to go. he even admitted it himself. Alex is vile, and i hate jenni more and more every time i see her. Love claire tho  I think you're probably right about Simon. Great bloke and a real grafter but as a project leader he wasn't very good. Having said that - on the Laundry task a few weeks ago - that team would not have won without Simon. After liking Alex at first (basically because he's a Northerner) I'm beginning to find him a bit sneaky. I hate Claire though - she did nothing but undermine Simon tonight and I'd have preferred her to go. Norma
April 16, 200817 yr poor Simon! Probably was the right decision, but Claire, eurgh getting on my nerves now. Didn't really see Helene manage her team either, she always seemed to be just drinking tea
April 16, 200817 yr Alex is fit- But he's so ruthless he reminds me of my ex :( TBH, I thought Claire should have gone- She didn't actually do anything today! She's an evil cow.
April 16, 200817 yr I hate Claire, shes a right cow! Saying that it was probably the right decision for Simon to go, nice bloke but not a good team leader there are a lot of weaker people than him left though. Helenes another one i cant stand, Lucinda clearly stated shes no good at compters and technology but Helene still gave her the job with the computer, well duh how stupid is that.
April 16, 200817 yr There was no way Simon deserved to go tonight... Alex lied and was so unenthusiactic about doing ANYTHING and tried to divert the blame to whoever he thought could go instead of him and Claire was uselss, I don't believe she was made a scapegoat, everything she was blamed for was her fault. I think Simon was incredibly unlucky, really. He did a better job overall than his opposite, Helene, they were jsut saved by the Becks lookalikey, which I have to say was a FANTASTIC idea but IIRC NOTHING to do with her. Simon just had complete idiots to manage, she had most of the intelligent people on her team (Raif, as much of a t*** he is, Lee and the Irish girl), Simon had no one, just people that were prepared to let him take the blame. I can't count the worse contestants than him on one hand... Edited April 16, 200817 yr by RabbitFurCoat
April 16, 200817 yr Author Alex is fit- But he's so ruthless he reminds me of my ex :( Alex ruthless? He's such a weak person. He has no ruthlessness; he has nothing at all about him! :heehee: Simon did deserve to go. I admired his passion but he was too emotional, too stressed; he couldn't keep a cool head. Claire is fabulous! She pronounces her name 'Claarr' - does it GET any better than that?! Helene is a slag.

Surely even Sralan would've got stressed trying to manage those numpties?
April 16, 200817 yr Author Alex perhaps, yes. The rest of the team were fine. Claire wasn't in the wrong; the numbers Simon had given her didn't relate to anything on the computer... :heehee: Lindi's face when she heard about their prize was a treat!
April 16, 200817 yr That was hardly Simon's fault. I'd have thought it was common sense to name each photo by the name it came up with on the camera. It was hardly his fault they never corresponded on the computer.... Edited April 16, 200817 yr by RabbitFurCoat
April 17, 200817 yr The Claire hate shouldn't be happening. Yes, she was over-bearing but Simon was so out of his depth. When she asked him to organise a description of the photos so those in production knew what to do, he hung up on her. He deserved to go.
April 17, 200817 yr Simon deserved to go. Apart from a nice personailty, he has done nothing in any of the tasks to warrant him being there. Helene will win this. She's got everything Sir Alan needs.
April 17, 200817 yr one thing that kept cheesing me right off was Bluewater. It is NOT the largest shopping centre in Europe  That goes to the Metro Centre ^_^
April 17, 200817 yr Meadowhall is rather big is it not? the largets single side shopping centre is the Overgate in scumdee ^_^
April 17, 200817 yr There is article in the Daily Mirror that Lindi is a man-eater and a heartless biatch. She is only after rich men. Image if she is tries to get it on with the man himself!
April 17, 200817 yr Meadowhall is tiny compared to the Metro Centre. ah ok. i haven't been 2 the metro centre for a very very very long time
April 17, 200817 yr well maybe tiny might be an overexaggeration but it is smaller  I know my way round Meadowhall and I barely see it much nowadays, and I still forget where things are in the Metro Centre
