Posted March 15, 200817 yr The third single from the gold-selling Oz album Better In The Dark is the incredible, haunting What You're On. All I can say is that I'm so pleased they went with this, because it's such a departure for them and it means all three singles so far have been exactly what I would have chosen! The rather unusual music video can be watched here: GzUYIbb2mqI
March 16, 200817 yr Pretty good song and video, but it still can't compare to anything from the last album for me.
March 16, 200817 yr I agree the singles from this album havent inspired me to buy the album so i haven't. The 2nd album (HCTD) had much better singles and album tracks. This is a good song by its self but seams poor when compared to previous songs such We're Coming Home and In Love Again.
March 16, 200817 yr Author In Love Again is easily the best thing they ever did, but it wasn't a real single was it? It only had a live video and to my knowledge didn't get a release...
March 20, 200817 yr ^ it was download only and when it was released to chart there had to also be physical singles (aria has now changed that and Rihanna's Dont Stop The Music has been the first number on download only single to hit number one on the overall chart) the album is great. its worth getting
March 23, 200817 yr Author The album is up 15 to 31 in Oz this week, and has finally passed Platinum, which is sales of 70,000+. ^_^
March 24, 200817 yr Are they actually going to give any of their stuff a proper release here? All they seem to do is release the video, and just get a trickle of downloads, which i think they've done with Way To Go, Don't You Wanna Feel and I Never Liked You i think they can do better. In The Uk its all gone downhill for them since Voodoo Child
March 24, 200817 yr Are they actually going to give any of their stuff a proper release here? All they seem to do is release the video, and just get a trickle of downloads, which i think they've done with Way To Go, Don't You Wanna Feel and I Never Liked You i think they can do better. In The Uk its all gone downhill for them since Voodoo Child 'Dont You Wanna Feel' and 'I Never Liked You' have yet to get a release here in any way, shape or form. I'm not entirely sure they will either. The thing about Rogue Traders is, their UK label completely ballsed up their last project, and as a result the Rogue Traders are undeservedly seen as one hit wonders here. They made a fatal move releasing 'Watching You' as the second single as it was fairly similar, they should have followed the pattern exactly as they were released in Australia to show there's more than one side to them. Sadly by the time 'Way To Go!'s release came around, nobody cared and further more they had a perfect video, but they made a terrible new one and gave the UK radio edit an awful remix. God, I will never forgive their UK label for all that. :(
March 24, 200817 yr Author Watching You was a better choice than Way To Go, in my view...We're Coming Home would've been best though, or, if they had wanted to invest in a new video, In Love Again.
March 26, 200817 yr Watching You was amazing. I knew it was going to be released on the week of release and i was hearing it everwhere and was one of my top 5 songs of 2006 and then i was listening to the chart show on Sunday and was expecting it to be quite high up but then i turned the radio on and there was Watching You at 4.30, so i knew it had flopped and i was really dissapointed and upset!
April 17, 200817 yr Author http://i31.tinypic.com/95rjpf.jpg CD Single: 1. What You’re On 2. What You’re On [James Ash Remix] 3. What You’re On [Cedric Gervais Vocal Remix] 4. Don’t You Wanna Feel [Deadmau5 Remix] #59 on Oz iTunes with no promo planned and with little radio play. The CD release is Saturday so expect a Top 20 flop. :(
April 19, 200817 yr Author Haha! :( Well at least it's climbing Oz iTunes a bit now - #43. Out on CD today!
April 27, 200817 yr Author Enters the Australian singles chart, with physical sales included, at a very, very disappointing #30. :( That's their lowest-charting physical single. Apparently radio play is on the rise but not yet at it's peak because I Never Liked You still gets heavy rotation (and the same on TV).
April 29, 200817 yr Oh my god... I am sure it will climb a bit but I am not getting much hopes... same for IMA. :(
May 4, 200817 yr Author Down 1 spot to #31 in Oz this week (30-31), but at least it's helping the album, which returns to the Top 50 at #46. ^_^
