Bingo. It wasn't ever going to come out anyway - just another reason for her not releasing it. She might enjoy recording but I don't think she enjoys "just" performing songs without the gratification of success. If she wanted to do solo music she'd have to accept that it wasn't ever going to smash the charts like it used to and play small gigs and I don't think that's her thing.

That's really not Geri at all, she doesn't do anything just for the passion of it. She likes the adoration, attention and success

Hey I wondered if any Geri fanatics knew about her 8 day promo tour back in April 1999 for Look At Me at the Schizophonic album. I know Geri went to Rio, NYC, Toronto, Sydney, Milan and London.

I’m trying to get the dates and places right as I want to tweet/post about this month.

Thank you

An unofficial dance remix of Half of Me has been on Geri's Spotify page for a short while now, seems no one responsible for the original song cares enough to have it taken down? :')

Geri of 2019 is such a bizarre person now. I think deep down inside she still wants to be famous, have attention and be successful. It is just her persona is now Lady Geri of the manor and she wouldn't be seen dead on top of a car doing an X factor judging stint.

So we have this weird Geri still doing a Spice Girls tour to massage her ego and doing Drag race UK but doing it with her lady of the manor persona. I mean who listens to their unreleased songs and posts it on social media unless they want that attention, but your average popstar would do it sat at home or at a studio, Geri is doing it driving in a car all in white in the country because it cant be seen as just doing it for attention.

Who watched her stint as a judge on Drag Race UK?

It doesn't seem like the reaction from viewing audiences is very favourable! :( Mostly a lot of people commented that she was kind of boring/dull and far from the Geri they once recognised.

I guess my feeling is that... I'm somewhat getting used to this calmer, genteel version of Geri, so I kind of expected it. It's just a bit of an odd fit for Drag Race, and made it seem like she wasn't properly getting into the spirit of it. Also she definitely wasn't too impressed by one of the queens' impression of Victoria lol, that was awkward.

Her best moment for me was the fact she appreciated Sum Ting Wong & gave her lovely words of encouragement at the end of the episode, that was pretty touching.

Nicola Roberts has complemented Geri regarding their time on Popstars: The Rivals -

“I just felt young, really young and I went up and I sang, and I did my thing and I remember Geri came running off and she was my favourite as well! So, I was just like ‘I don’t know what is happening right now!'

"She was like, ‘You have something so special and I’m rooting for you and you sound so good’. It’s funny, throughout my whole career, it’s always been women, from the very start.

"It’s always been a certain type of woman, like Geri was always the one who championed me through Popstar: The Rivals."

I still remember how Geri fought for Nicola to be one of the final 10 girls, but Louis Walsh overruled her. Nicola was eventually brought back when one of the finalists pulled out before the live shows began. I guess Geri’s belief in Nicola ensured she was the one who was chosen (they could have gone with 3 other girls from the prior selection process). There had already been one replacement made (Kimberley Walsh wasn’t initially in the final 10 either). How different Girls Aloud would have been if fate hadn’t stepped in!

Geri was clearly very good at spotting potential! Nice that Nicola has praised her. I don’t think Geri is particularly remembered for her role in forming Girls Aloud!

Nice indeed and yes Geris contributions to Girls Alouds creation does tend to get pushed under the carpet. I haven't read Kimberley and Cheryl's books in a while but I believe they also have nice things to say aswell.
