March 26, 200817 yr Spiritualized did something a bit weird... First album, they just called themselves "Spiritualized", then the second album, they became (rather curiously..) "Spiritualized Electric Mainline", then they reverted to "Spiritualized" again afterwards... Nope, I dunno why it happened either to be honest... I think Jason Pierce was just doing too many drugs at the time....

March 31, 200817 yr Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark didn't shorten their name. People who couldn't spell manoeuvres did!
April 1, 200817 yr Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark didn't shorten their name. People who couldn't spell manoeuvres did! yeah as the band have just released a live cd and on the front cover its like ORCHESTRAL MANOEUVRES In The Dark with OMD - Live below it so they use both - tho think they shortened the band as werent they a 4 piece electronic indie act pretending to be a synthpop duo that actually had about 7 million members at one point before everybody left and then it was only Andy McCluskey left before he decided to sack himself and be replaced by Kerry Katona (a bit like duran duran on rock profile - btw does duranduran count - that is one space less  ) on the other hand not to sure about the Otara Millionaires Club I can think of loads that could be shortened ... Johnny Hates Jazz ... should be lengthened to Johnny Hates Jazz-Funk  - thats a much better name - think i might start a Natalie Imbruglia/Hepburn/Cure/Roxanne Wilde tribute band called that!!!
