I 'wobbled' between 3 and 4 miles but then a nice fireman hosed me down and I was revived.

Have to confess to singing on way through the Boost Zone - they should have had more of those!!!

The long run through the estate between 11 & 12 miles is a killer

I was nearer the front of the green zone - naughtily climbed the fence as was almost late :naughty:

I crossed the line just as the red arrows were drawing a heart in the sky

How did shins cope? Not set off splints again? What are you running next?

I am doing a 9 mile trail run at Conniston in a few weeks ....... am thinking not my best idea!

 Just as well they weren't huge fences.

I was sort of watching the Red Arrows coming down the home straight, whilst dodging slowing runners.

My shins are fine. I certainly think I've overcome that problem with the style of trainers I go for with huge shock absorbers now.

No run set in stone yet, looking at maybe Maltby or Scarborough to finish the year off. Before hopefully returning to Middlesbrough for Sport Relief if it returns there, as it was the first time I ever run in 2008 in the 6 mile challenge. For some reason I have one eye on the Redcar Half Marathon already as if I haven't punished myself enough, but that all depends on whether I get into the London Marathon. Find out soon!

I'll edit in my GNR split times once my watch lets me look

Mile 1: 10:25

Mile 2: 10:13

Mile 3: 10:49

Mile 4: 11:13

Mile 5: 11:51

Mile 6: 11:23

Mile 7: 11:16

Mile 8: 11:28

Mile 9: 14:46

Mile 10: 13:15

Mile 11: 13:04

Mile 12: 14:27

Mile 13: 11:44

Mile 13.1: 2:35

Have you found your official photos yet?

No :( Everytime I tried the website it was all messed up and not working :drama: And now it's saying it won't be back up until Monday. I hope they got at least 1 of me

seems to have gone down now :(

.... they have a few 'interesting' ones of me!

They usually have a Tyne bridge shot - will allocate yours based on chip timing on bridge - you will be able to find yourself - I did last year - is my favourite photo.

Sorry your selection does not match an event or was not covered

Did noone get me? Hopefully there's 1 in the last 25% that's not up yet. I mean I only got 1 at the Great North 10K in July :(

Did you find any pics of you?

I did a 9 mile trail / fell run in the lakes on Saturday!!

We amazing - such good fun in the rain and gales lol

I can see me doing a few more fell runs!

Nope not a single photo and I remember running right in line with one of the photographers :( Wish I took notice of who finished around me  or if they had gun times on the results too so I could find someone else with me lurking on the background

I love running in the rain  I haven't done a fell run yet, may do a couple of trail runs next year. Been a while since I went cross country!

Didn't get in the London Marathon, and I don't think I'll try the charity route, I think it's a sign I need another year  Already looking at Redcar Half a week earlier now.
