April 1, 200817 yr Author Well it's certainly getting better as you go higher... Haha well I opted out of including Hear'Say in the chart, so it would be quite difficult not to! :heehee:
April 1, 200817 yr I was only today strangely debating wether to do an Top Album Chart ever again. :o But anyway.. : 45 http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/GWENPRECD.JPG Gwen Stefani - 'The Sweet Escape' I never got into LAMB, I never quite 'got it' as an album, but I checked out Sweet Escape, despite Wind It Up + Sweet Escape being downright awful, and on a whole, I found this album quite boring personally. :P 44 http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/PRERELCDCAGUIL.JPG Christina Aguilera - 'Back to Basics' Christina SO needed this. It's one of those things where an artist has reached so far of status that they can release whatever they want. ^_^ Back To Basics is decent, but I hope Stripped is higher. 43 http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/82876870682.JPG Justin Timberlake - 'FutureSex/LoveSounds' I actually love this album. :heehee: It's a real slick clean production, although Timbaland is literally BUMMED on this album. :/ 41 http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/5093952.JPG Beyoncé - 'Dangerously in Love' A pittyfull album. I don't see how some people rate this above B'Day or call this one of the best RnB albums of all time, although I do think 'Crazy In Love' has helped out RnB ALOT... My views so far anyway.

And yes, 'Stripped' is still to come. :magic:
April 1, 200817 yr Author 40 http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/82876738972.JPG Shakira - 'Oral Fixation II' This eagerly awaited English speaking album of Shakira's certainly didn't disappoint upon its release early on in 2006. It was my alarm call every morning for a month or so actually, so I can't listen to 'How Do You Do' now without feeling that awful "waking up" feeling! Good album, though I've gone off quite a few of the songs now... Stand-out tracks *Don't Bother *Dreams for Plans *Timor
April 1, 200817 yr Author 39 http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/3670282.JPG Lily Allen - 'Alright, Still' I never really got into this album until mid-2007, and that was when I realised just what I'd been missing in 2006 when the Lily Allen craze hit the UK. :o So many great songs here making it deservedly getting into my top 40. Looking forward to some new stuff from her. :D Stand-out tracks *Knock Em Out *Everything's Just Wonderful *Friday Night *Shame for You
April 1, 200817 yr Author 38 http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/1726606X.JPG Timbaland - 'Shock Value' Everyone's favourite producer bought us an amazing album last year, and produced three massive singles. :D I do think though that there are a few really awful songs on here, hence its low(ish) position. 'Give It to Me' and 'The Way I Are' are and always will be massive favourites of mine in the clubs and generally everywhere. :D Excellence. Stand-out tracks *Give It to Me *Release *The Way I Are *Scream *Miscommunication *Time *Come Around
April 1, 200817 yr Author 37 http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/82876807392.JPG Dixie Chicks - 'Taking the Long Way' I was rather obsessed with these Bush-haters in the summer of 2006. Looking back... I'm not quite so keen on this album tbh. The singles that were released are absolutely amazing, as are one or two of the other tracks, but much of the rest is very mediocre. Very glad I got into them though. ^_^ Stand-out tracks *The Long Way Around *Easy Silence *Not Ready to Make Nice *Bitter End *Voice Inside My Head
April 1, 200817 yr Author 36 http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/cdvx2928.JPG Spice Girls - 'Forever' The first of their three appearances comes at #36 for the Spice Girls. Once Geri had left, they really fell apart didn't they? And as this album shows, they never quite matched the excellence of 'Spice' or 'Spiceworld'. Still, this album isn't all bad, there are a number of really decent tunes... but they were never really right for the Spice Girls. :( Stand-out tracks *Tell Me Why *Right Back at Ya *If You Wanna Have Some Fun *Goodbye
April 1, 200817 yr Haha i have that S Club 7 album  My faves were: 'I'll Keep Waiting', 'Best Friend' & 'Stand By You' but it was my favourite S Club album! lol Although i do LOVE 'Show Me Your Colours' on 'Sunshine' Which i surprisingly dont own :o lol but yeah *note to self: dont brag about having an S Club album* haha
April 1, 200817 yr 48 http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/88697154452.JPG Steps - 'Step One' And here they are again! What a cheesy back end of my chart haha - it'll get better, honest. :kink: I always was, and still am, completely confused at why they felt the need to put that ghastly 'Steptro' thing on as track #1, with a load of weird noises and then a line from 'Last Thing on My Mind'. The minds of Steps we will never understand! Stand-out tracks *5,6,7,8 *Heartbeat *Better Best Forgotten  I used to love this album, I loved Love U More & Too Weak To Resist
April 1, 200817 yr I love this countdown so far :o A lot of the albums I haven't heard though tbh but I approve of the artists and the singles I've heard... I have Justin which is really good. Lily's was always a bit boring for me though, the singles are the best ones on there :(
April 1, 200817 yr 44 http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/PRERELCDCAGUIL.JPG Christina Aguilera - 'Back to Basics' The much anticipated return of Ms. Aguilera was met with a certain degree of "mehness" by myself, if I'm honest. Some standout tracks on this, but all in all it is quite an ordinary album. The second disc was far superior to the first, but it's a decent enough album. ^_^ Stand-out tracks *Oh Mother *Candyman *Hurt *The Right Man I really like this album, the only problem is that I think it's too much, it's almost two albums in one. That can be good, but it's almost like she needed to pad it out, or she didn't want to reject any tracks. I think she should have shortened it down to: 1. Back In The Day 2. I Got Trouble 3. Ain't No Other Man 4. Hurt 5. Still Dirrty 6. Candyman 7. Oh Mother 8. Understand 9. The Right Man 10. Slow Down Baby 11. Makes Me Wanna Pray 12. Save Me From Myself Then possibly tagging 'Thank You' (Dedication to the Fans) on the end. I think it would have made a much better album. 36 http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/cdvx2928.JPG Spice Girls - 'Forever' The first of their three appearances comes at #36 for the Spice Girls. Victoria and Mel B got to sing more and they are my two favourites, even though I think Mel C has the best solo career. I think nearly every track off the album is great, the only ones I don't really like are "Get Down With Me" and "Oxygen".
April 1, 200817 yr Hi David, i own the following albums so far :o Decent start :w00t: 45. Gwen Stefani - The Sweet Escape 43. Justin Timberlake - FutureSex/LoveSounds 40. Shakira - Oral Fixation II 39. Lily Allen - Alright, Still

So far I own David: :D Lily Allen - Alright Still 1 more than I thought. :D There you go you see Jonny. Less of the attitude in future yeah? :smoke: :heehee: I love this countdown so far :o A lot of the albums I haven't heard though tbh but I approve of the artists and the singles I've heard... I have Justin which is really good. Lily's was always a bit boring for me though, the singles are the best ones on there :( Hello Slickaroos. @D Hope you like the chart as it continues too. ^_^ I really like this album, the only problem is that I think it's too much, it's almost two albums in one. April 2, 200817 yr Haha was 'Too Weak to Resist' the one where Lee took lead vocals? No it was H :o so called Steps fan. :arrr:
April 2, 200817 yr I own 50. S Club 7 - 7 49. Steps - Steptacular 48. Steps - Step One 45. Gwen Stefani - The Sweet Escape 44. Christina Aguilera - Back to Basics 43. Justin Timberlake - FutureSex/LoveSounds 42. Nelly Furtado - Folklore 41. Beyoncé - Dangerously in Love 40. Shakira - Oral Fixation II 39. Lily Allen - Alright, Still :heehee:
April 2, 200817 yr Author 35 http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/9867025.JPG Lucie Silvas - 'Breathe In' I was a massive fan of Lucie when she first came onto the scene in late 2004, and 'Breathe In' is a fairly decent album. ^_^ Many excellent tracks and a few fillers, but overall a great album. Not listened to it for ages though, hence its lowish position. Stand-out tracks *The Game Is Won *Forget Me Not *What You're Made Of
April 2, 200817 yr Author 34 http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/5482622.JPG Texas - 'Greatest Hits' I was never much of a fan of the excellent Texas until this collection emerged in 2000 or whenever it was. ^_^ It really is great though, so many classic songs on here but, like Lucie, I've not listened to it for ages so that's probably why it languishes in the thirties. Stand-out tracks *I Don't Want a Lover *Summer Son *Black Eyed Boy *Halo *When We Are Together
