June 2, 200817 yr Last year's final averaged 11m and 43.7%, peaking at 13.5m and 51.7%, the results show averaged 10.6m (44.7%) and peaked at 11.2m (48.4%). So it was up this year. ^_^ The results show this year was also the 13th most watched TV programme of the 21st Century. :o

June 6, 200817 yr Good for Channel 4, but still the lowest ratings since it's been really well known.
June 10, 200817 yr Big Brother has slowly deteriorated, it's around the 3.3m mark atm. Last series really damaged it it would seem... the BB5 highlights shows from 10-11 used to get around 4.5m viewers I think, but it's not really capable of doing that anymore. Euro 2008 is doing alright too... Netherlands-Italy has had the best figure so far, with an average of 5.6m on ITV1. ^_^
June 10, 200817 yr In fact, just looking at some previous BB ratings from W/E 20/06/04, here is what they got. :o 1 BIG BROTHER (THU 2202) 6.95 2 BIG BROTHER (WED 2200) 6.70 3 BIG BROTHER (FRI 2205) 6.22 4 BIG BROTHER (TUE 2202) 6.13 5 BIG BROTHER (MON 2201) 5.01 6 BIG BROTHER (FRI 2100) 4.99 7 BIG BROTHER (SUN 2100) 4.05 11 BIG BROTHER (SAT 2104) 3.22 Massive ratings, things hardly ever get nearly seven million viewers at 10.00pm on a weeknight. :o

March 26, 200916 yr The Apprentice did excellent last night :D The first episode of The Apprentice set a record for the show last night with the biggest audience of any of its opening episodes. The show, which saw Anita Shah become the first contestant to be fired by Sir Alan, averaged 8.11m (33.3%) during the 9pm hour. The previous high was the series four opener, which took 6.4m (25.6%) on March 26 last year. Spinoff programme The Apprentice - You're Fired!, which featured an interview with Shah, pulled in 3.01m (15.2%) for BBC Two in the 30 minutes from 10pm. In the 9pm hour, The Apprentice was comfortably ahead of its nearest competitor Taggart, which drew 3.25m (13.4%) for ITV1. Elsewhere, BBC Four's new series Newswipe With Charlie Brooker averaged 176k (1.3%) between 10.30pm and 11pm, while a lowly 218k (1%) tuned in to watch the latest episode of Gossip Girl on ITV2.
March 26, 200916 yr I highly doubt ITV will be picking Gossip Girl up for the next season :heehee: 90210 is trashing it! :kink:
