I don't get why so many people dislike Where Is Your Heart or think its average...to me its a stunningly beautiful ballad...every track on this album could have been a UK top 40 single if released (well 7 of them were top 40 hits!), unlike the songs on My December...

2. Delta Goodrem - Mistaken Identity

November 2004, and only 18 months since she was diagnosed with cancer, Delta was back on top form with the astonishingly good Mistaken Identity. Far darker than her debut Innocent Eyes, and perhaps expectedly so after the year that she had had. The angry piano melodies were joined by uplifting and inspiring pop songs such as Be Strong. Somehow it missed the UK top 20 but to me, this really is a musical masterpiece...nearly every song on here is special to me in some way and I was surprised that somebody could bring out such a strong second album less than two years after an incredible debut. Sadly, the general public in Australia didn't think much of it either and it was a much smaller hit than Innocent Eyes whereas it should have been just as big...would it have been fair to expect breezy pop from Delta in a period where she had coped with more than most people her age would ever go through in their lives? Plus, the album helped me no end during my last few months of college, and for that I am eternally grateful...if ever I felt my life was bad, I just listened to Extraordinary Day and was reminded that it could have been so much worse...a truly incredible album

Gone was a bit too similar to Since U Been Gone to really stand out for me...that's it now for The Corrs! thankfully their largely dire Irish album Home isn't anywhere in the top 100 :heehee:

Although im not surprised... I must say i was actually disappointed in this album! :cry: Dont hate me please?? lol The singles were Brilliant and so was 'This is not me' but i think thats all i liked off the album! Perhaps i didnt give it enough listens, i dont know but Seriously a bit disappointed in it IMO! :(

I think your comments are very accurate, Innocent Eyes is easily my faovurite song too followed by Predictable. Mistaken Identity was always too personal for me to enjoy, I saw it as her putting her heart and soul into creating it and for me it almost revealed too much about her especially after her experiences but the music is of course great. The new album is rather boring though :(

O completely forgot about Delta! :lol: I own your #3, #4 and #5 though. :D 'Talk on Corners' is quite good, but like I said somewhere else there aren't that many songs that really grab me. 'Breakaway' is a good album also, particularly the title track. :D It was on today in work actually haha and I was half singing along to it. :lol: Christina Aguilera's entry in your top five is excellent too. Such an amazing album - manages to soar from one extreme to the other so effortlessly!
