Posted April 12, 200817 yr jake.16__ Commentary ›› It's a week of much movement on one's chart this week, with an overhaul of the top 10. Ladytron debut at #01 with the excellent 'Ghosts' the lead single from the forthcoming 'Velocifero' album. A soulless dark track, entrancing it is. Lykke Li vaults 11-06 this week with the clappy 'I'm Good, I'm Gone'. Noah and the Whale, Santogold, Feist and Fleet Foxes complete the new look top 10. Elsewhere there are notable climbs from Björk, Adele and Chromeo. Several tracks that charted in 2007 re-enter due to the relevant acts re-releasing them as they are now big artists and stuff. The Wombats did it last week but this week The Ting Tings and Digitalism re-enter with their debut singles from last spring. Great both of them are too. Other new entries come from Shout Out Louds who have received wonderful remix treatment from Kleerup. Swedes together! Justice too enter with 'DVNO' at #32. So-Me works the video gold and helps what was once a meh track turn into one of beauty. One recommends the video muchly. Week 16 is also my favourite chart week of the year thus far. Nay cheating rather changing the way I do my chart. I broke a rule I shouldn't have ;o Why do these boredom-inducing--car-related incidents happen to you? You always seem to be in car parks and what not at weird hours doing boring things :( I'm ITEx4 I suppose. Hungry and doing collegework and ting. The rest of the week looks more promising tbh.
