it's also the best selling album of the week, with Now 69 at #2 and Duffy at #3.

Compilation albums seem to be selling fairly well this week, the top 5 Compilation Albums are all in the top 10 of the Combined Albums chart.

Of course it's also possible (in fact probable) that it's a poor sales week for artist albums - the #20 compilation album is #71 on the combined albums chart in its 20th week on the chart, which would seem to bear this out.

:o a Now album with only 3 weeks at the top

if AATW are so good at releasing and marketing compilation albums, why do they muck up single releases so much

I was tempted to buy Clubland Classix today! Dunno why i didnt actually coz it is a CORKER of an album! :o Better than the Floorfiller stuff!
Glad to see Davey Pierce still has his fans. I bet he'll be more than thrilled with a top 3 entry!

It wouldn't surprise me if it climbs back to No1 - I seem to remember one of them (possibly the first one of the year) was knocked off No1, only to climb back up and stay at No1 for seven weeks.

I've got all of the top 10. The Ashes to Ashes soundtrack is the best me thinks.

Compilations doing so well, they knock the artists, something chronic! An album is an album, so why shouldn`t the chart be mixed permanently, like it always used to be? An artist only chart, doesn`t even give half the full picture, what!
