January 4, 200916 yr My Opinions: Video Villain - I'm not really feeling this song, its just not that good IMO. Brandy - I think this is a really great track, whether people will get bored because its Brandy again, I dont know, but its the best of the lot for me Goldfrapp - I see potential in this, after first listen, I think its alright, but I get the feeling this would grow on me Kevin Rudolf - I'm too familiar with the song now, and I favour the songs that I have never heard so that I am discovering something new, good track though. In order: 1. Brandy 2. Goldfrapp 3. Kevin Rudolf 4. Video Villain
January 4, 200916 yr Author Brandy's also my favorite track. ;o It's a tough time for finding entries as nothing new really comes out till we're well into January. Quotosibb aren't exactly known for their fresh, new entries though. It's usually songs that are new to me...6 months, or more, after everyone heard them. Seems like people want Brandy so far, she seems more of a BJSC XV entry to me though, 3 entries from her in the last 4 contests (she couldn't even enter XI obviously) seems a bit of an overload. Especially as it's all from the same era. D: I guessed I failed to find a decent entry.
January 4, 200916 yr Weren't you going to take O...Saya or Gifted in the event neither Mdice or I sent them? :heehee:
January 5, 200916 yr Author Weren't you going to take O...Saya or Gifted in the event neither Mdice or I sent them? :heehee: I'm a bit unsure on whether I should do that though, it seems a bit like direct stealing. I was still hoping you'd go for Gifted anyway, why bother worrying about sounding too much like BoA/getting lost in Scandipop when you can auto-qualify with a song that wouldn't suffer either of these and sounds fairly unique? :magic: It seems like the perfect hosts song to me, if only because I'd be too nervous to take it through the semis, I'm no good at risks. As for O...Saya, I thought Ben might be considering it for another time. I wouldn't be as hesitant about sending it because it doesn't seem as risky. I think having a perfect qualification record is making me think too much about what I send. Once I don't make it I'm sure I'll be fine. Maybe I should send a Spanish Westlife song and get it over with. :kink:
January 5, 200916 yr From the list I think you already know my thought  Kevin Rudolf  But I haven't heard that O...Saya song so hmmm....

January 5, 200916 yr Wow! Just listened to O...Saya, and I think you should enter it. Its a great song, I'm surprised I like it, but I do.
January 5, 200916 yr Author once you miss the final once, risks certainly become easier :kink: forget a Spanish Westlife song, send their Delta duet 'All Out Of Love' 12 points :kink: Exactly and it'd be worse to crash out with a song I thought was safe. The whole point of sending Westlife would be to miss the final, I could just make it if Delta is there. Wow! Just listened to O...Saya, and I think you should enter it. Its a great song, I'm surprised I like it, but I do. I guess it depends how Ben feels about it. He didn't introduce me to the song, like he did with 'Dream On', but he did kinda get there first in this contest.
January 5, 200916 yr Author Go for it. :P I decided a while back I wasn't gonna enter it so feel free. Well I'll certainly consider it as Video Villain didn't get the response I was hoping for and Brandy has been used at every opportunity lately.
January 5, 200916 yr Author Go O...Saya ;o I probably will, I've only got until Sunday and I don't think anything will pop up between now and then. Here it is for anyone curious, I don't know if it's been posted on here yet: Lqk5Vf8KAfE A. R. Rahman/M.I.A. - O... Saya Immense, yes?
January 12, 200916 yr I'm so glad you have gone for the Slumdog Millionaire track, such great tuneage. Nerina Pallot continues her Buzzjack tour by arriving in Quotosibb to perform a future release (co written with Linda Perry) from her third album due for release later in 2009: 7vKv9rjpIA0 Nerina Pallot - When Did I Become Such A B**ch? She also performs a track from her 2nd album Fires: kXKZae5Gs-A Nerina Pallot - Mr King

January 27, 200916 yr Author  oh well, I'm in good company with Agnes, Ellie and Hooverphonic  Well it's certainly more than the 4 votes you gave Jennifer Ellison at the bottom and we have less voters. As I said while the results were going on, I didn't really dislike any songs but the bottom five were the songs I probably wouldn't give points in a normal contest while all the others would usually be the sort of songs I'd want to give at least 1 point.
January 27, 200916 yr I just really dislike Bye Bye Boy :( I quite liked Baby I Don't Care though :D I can actually understand you not liking M.A.G.I.C. and Boom as they are acquired tastes but Wish I Stayed is quite inoffensive, or did you just find it boring?

I don't recognise her other hit without listening to it, I did recognise the sound of "Bye Bye Boy" though and considering that was a very minor hit I don't know why, does it sample something? Yeah, maybe I didn't give her or Hooverphonic enough of a chance but they were on the boring side of inoffensive for me. While Stars and Honey Ryder were on the better side of inoffensive. I'd have liked a normal version of the Honey Ryder song, I reckon I would have rated it a lot higher if I could listen to it properly. Edited January 27, 200916 yr by Aaron™
