good day for the Pools if you do it  with scores as they stand at the moment

Birmingham 2-2 Liverpool

Man City 2-2 Fulham

Sunderland 2-2 Middlesbrough

Tottenham 1-1 Bolton

West Ham 2-2 Newcastle

Wigan 0-0 Reading

Fulham won, maybe there is still hope for me watching £5 Premiership games next season. :drama:

Excellent wins for Chelsea and Fulham today, means both the relegation and title battles will go down right to the wire! Although I still think Man Utd will win the title and Fulham will go down.

Not suprised about the Liverpool score, we always tend to do either really $h!t or really good against Birmingham and we've all but got 4th spot tied up, and an extremely big game coming up on Wednesday!

Does anyone know what happend with Nemanja Vidić?
Does anyone know what happend with Nemanja Vidić?

He got assaulted by Drogba's knee, and had to be substituted as he was concussed and had to have stitches in his lip where his tooth went through it, he is a serious doubt for Tuesday night (along with Rooney).

Personally, I was gobsmacked Drogba got away with it as I thought it was at least a yellow card offense, as the Vidic's head had already beaten Drogba to the ball.

I couldnt believe that he didnt get at least a yellow card.

I really hope that hell be ready for Tuesday...

Oh come on! That wasn't a yellow card offense, he'd controlled it on his chest and was then going to further control it with his knee, a legal move that plenty of people do. It's only cos Vidic is so 'hard' that it happened, not many people would've done that!

(I seem to have become an avid Drogba defender recently, but I can't stand him tbh...)

What a great weekend for football. Both the title race and the relegation battle are wide open again, and most importantly Sunderland have secured safety and will be playing Premier League football next season :yahoo:

What a cracking game of football the match was yesterday
