It's really good! I loved Martha in Series 3 :D

Looks like its gonna be REALLY good!

Well, I loved tonights episode! :o

It had all the ingredients of a great Dr Who episode, and it was good to see Martha back.

8/10 for me.

1st half of the Dalek episode was good too last year, then it totally got destroyed in the 2nd half

Let's hope they don't do the same with the 2nd ep of the Sontarans ^_^

It was errrmmmmm. Nothing special really, with some cliches creeping in (the doppleganger of a good companion), some amusing scenes, Martha's character is much better now that she is more assertive, but as for Donna = she really is annoying the hell out of me.

Any show where I'm starting to will on the baddies to harm the Doctor's assistant is in trouble.

Whilst, I'm sorry to say The United Nations Intelligence Taskforce just remind me back to the old Brigadier & Jon Pertwee's Doctor, where the timelord spent a year/series stuck on Planet Earth get into sub Avengers type scrapes. (Thank the Lord for UK Gold to enable me to see old episodes!)

Good to see Christopher Ryan as General Staal, however this episode was about as enjoyable as watching his fellow ex-Young One pal 'Ade' Edmondson in his unfunny (think sub My Family) sitcom Teenage Kicks (on ITV at the moment).

This was no Planet Of The Ood.

I agree with COD post regarding the Jon Pertwee and The Brigadier, it just reminded me of a re-hash story, they could have re-cast the Brigadier for this epsiode to resurrect the character.

As for the episode it was a slow start, and kept on as a slow paced episode, I didn't think it was anything special 5/10

So far this series has been very poor, I guess the problem lies with Catherine Tate.

I thought it was the best one so far, and the trailer for part 2 sounds promising.

Great action, and some space scenes too with the sontaran spaceship.

I agree i think Martha has grown a lot through the series, and it was nice to see

her back. Christopher Ryan was good as General Staal.

9/10

I think it was one of the best so far too. Funny in places, I loved Martha being back and it wasn't as cheesy as previous episodes. And most importantly, there was a real, followable plot.

8/10 ^_^

Well I have to disagree, for me this was the best episode of the series so far, however..not as good as the standard of series 3, I'm still waiting for THAT special episode...

The acting from the guy who was in that Echo Beach, and the guy who played the slightly creepy genius was bordering on painful.

I also want to say, I wish people would watch Catherine Tate and forget about her comedy past, this episode was the first where she maintained a steady level of acting, for me this was her best performance so far, I feel Martha's appearence has helped somehow.

The episode gets added points for Martha's return, but I hope the second part is good, if not better, I wish people would stop blaming CT for the episodes not being that good because they are wrong  FACT!!!!

7.5/10 (will change after another viewing)

Don't see how a cloned assistant is a cliche as I don't remember that happening much before on Who although clones are a fairly standard sci-fi plot device but then seeing as the whole of Sontaran tech is based on cloning doesn't this fit in with the episode. I really liked the episode. There were some good comedy moments and it has set things up nicely for part 2 although I can't get the feeling out of my head that this could have been a really good single episode story and that is was padded out too much.
I agree with the Dave - I think CT was good tonight, and it was the best of the series so far. Although teenage-geek-genius' acting was just awful :|

Yeah I quite liked the episode too. It was the first Dr Who episode i've payed a lot of attention to in a while.

Some of the acting was cringeworthy though...was truly awful.
