May 2, 201213 yr Author Hello and welcome in our second show for celebrating the 30th BJSC of Sangria and the 5th "birthday" of BJSC itself. Last time we remembered for our early successes but during the show the headquarter of SRTV was attacked and the broadcasting was ruined by some criminals. But now it's time to move on the hits of our next 10 contest, so let's see them! In BJSC21 Sangria entered a Scandinavian artist again. It was the time for Samsaya (who represented Tinnmark in the last contest) and her lovely song ADHD (Love Me Not). She made the top 5 for the third time in Sangria's history with 130 points. R6rEgxKfu_c At the 24th BJSC Sangria was represented by an up-and-coming British singer Tania Foster (I'm wondering where is she now...) with the song Supawoman. It picked up 103 points and a 7th place. APPSkzZJ_Sw One contest later we entered an Asian artist again, after Tata Young has represented us twice. Fancy Free (Dave Aude Remix) by the Singaporean singer Ho Yeow Sun, simply known as Sun came 8th with 93 points. It was our 6th top 10 placing. yxjFRSemm7c Hope you were having a good time and don't forget to tune in on the 6th of May when we will reveal our entry for the 44th BuzzJack Song Contest, BJSCXLIVe!!! May 6, 201213 yr Author Good evening everyone! You are watching our last show before BJSC XLIVe starts. Here's a quick review of our last 2 hit. In BJSC27 we sent a Scandinavian artist again, this time from Denmark. We originally wanted to send Gravitonas but we were kind enough to pass them to one of our favorite countries who is the host of BJSCXLIVe :o Yes it's Numayania :D Fallulah with the song Bridges came third with 223 points. This is our one and only medal in the history of BJSC...but hopefully not the last  BXJB0s5aUxM We've returned to BJSC after missing a year and for the third contest, which was BJSC42 we sent a Scandi entry again (what a surprise :kink:). Norwegian talent Gabrielle represented the country wit the beautiful song, Høster and came 10th with 94 points. _ZMpmz0G1JE Don't forget to come back tonight when we will present you our BJSCXLIVe entry! :o
May 6, 201213 yr Author Our BJSC XLIVe entry is... ... the first one from Germany. It's Blitzkids mvt. with a catchy song called Blinded. Sangrians fell in love with this song instantly though it's more than a year old :o Listen to it now and vote for it in Semi-final 1 :D gXbfWrEMquc :cheer: Edited May 6, 201213 yr by Alex Banan
June 5, 201213 yr Author WTF??? no, WTF! After Gala refused to represent Sangria in the 45th BJSC because she is very busy these days, and because the Sangrian #1, Alina was ineligible to make it to the contest (SBJSCC have a rule that they don't send anything what have appeared on the famous Scandipop site - though this will be changed in the near future) we proudly present our entry, the insanely catchy and extra funny song: WTF! - Da Bop PqQGYbF7puA surely a DNQ but good luck :cheer:
June 5, 201213 yr Daehun would like to show support for this song, shame it will struggle to qualify given its semi circumstances. :(
June 5, 201213 yr Daehun would like to show support for this song, shame it will struggle to qualify given its semi circumstances. :( Two Russians voting for it could theoretically help it though? This one samples a CLASSIC Soviet song.
June 5, 201213 yr Two Russians voting for it could theoretically help it though? This one samples a CLASSIC Soviet song. I do believe Pavel is sometimes very ANTI-RUSSIAN :D Edited June 5, 201213 yr by Oricon
June 5, 201213 yr Sometimes is not a word to be honest. I'd say "Pavel sometimes is PRO-Russian" will be more accurate. I'm not sure whether I'll vote for it now, but the sample is classic. I say that not only because it's Russian, it's genuinely brilliant, especially with the lyrics understanding.
June 5, 201213 yr Interesting. :D I spotted this in Netherlands chart and had a listen out of curiosity. It's very Gramophonedzie meets Yolanda Be Cool. I reckon this will be a big hit across Europe in the next couple of months.
June 5, 201213 yr Author Interesting. :D I spotted this in Netherlands chart and had a listen out of curiosity. It's very Gramophonedzie meets Yolanda Be Cool. I reckon this will be a big hit across Europe in the next couple of months. you know, risks FTW :D yeah, I was surprised when I saw it on the Dutch iTunes chart at #3 and I really hope you are right. I like both Gramophonedzie and Yolanda so this was instant for me. But I don't have high hopes.
June 10, 201213 yr Great to have a sample of a 1968 Soviet "masterpiece" .... the original sounds relatively contemporary for 1968 bearing in mind the Soviet Union's disapproval of pop ... not quite the Beatles though ! The video of the remix is also a take on the original which can be seen on Youtube. Bizarre to have what I assume to be the first hit in the West of a USSR song over 20 years after the end of communism.
June 19, 201213 yr Author N E W S ! The government of Sangria announced that a bridge will be built between Sangria and Greenfroze. This will be the longest bridge in the BuzzJack world and will look like this: http://i50.tinypic.com/k4dpqp.jpg The name of the bridge will be Sangrønn Bridge and will symbolize the long friendship between the two great countries.
June 19, 201213 yr Good luck tonight from Numayania, good song but we would love to see our beloved artist from the 90s Gala enter XLVI for Sangria :D
June 19, 201213 yr Author Good luck tonight from Numayania, good song but we would love to see our beloved artist from the 90s Gala enter XLVI for Sangria :D Thank you Tom, and I wish you the same :) I'm thinking about sending her as the song is regrowing on me because we finally have the video (see the thread in the Dance forum :D ) but I'm not sure that she can do well here... :(

OMG I didn't see this until now! Great initative! :D The Greenfroze government happily supports the building with fundings of 50% of the price of the bridge, contributing heavily with our green knowledge and techonology as well to make it run partly on electric power and partly magnetic force to enable any car travelling on the bridge to be pulled over without the use of gas or any other environmental damaging chemicals. In return this action makes the bridge self-sustaining! :cheer:
June 21, 201213 yr Author Sangria takes an experimental trip! After the risky entry, WTF! came top 10 at the 45th BJSC the Sangrian BuzzJack Song Contest Committee (SBJSCC) decided to go with another risky one to Ingermanlandia. The country will leave the mainstream dance/pop genre for this contest and will send something different to prove their colourful musical taste (even though this could be a disaster :kink: ). There are some electro, synth pop and indie(-ish) songs in the line-up so this will be an interesting choice.
March 10, 201510 yr Author Sangria is back! After a big hiatus Sangria is coming back to the BJSC world. Hello world, hello DNQ :mansoncheer: Our entry for the 73rd contest is a great song from an Icelandic singer. So let's get back to the roots and get ready for some high quality pop music coz we're back :D Friðrik Dór - Nóttin Svört WQbjPoeYruQ good luck everyone
March 10, 201510 yr Welcome back! I was going to say you arrived just in time for me possibly sending some Hungarian pop next month but that won't be happening now so nevermind. At least Land of DW have done so this month though :magic: I've not listened to your song yet but it being Icelandic is a good start.
