FSR Rontvia's response to N-Trance performance

In the ongoing chart and contest battle between the dance titans Fragma and N-Trance, fans in FSR Rontvia enjoyed Kelly Llorenna's live performance of Set You Free, although many audience members questioned her claim that the song was the 'biggest selling dance record of all time', many arguing that Black Box's Ride On Time, ATB's 9PM (Till I Come) and Eiffel 65's Blue (Da Ba Dee) have all outsold the song. Nevertheless, Fragma and N-Trance's performances have greatly helped their showing on iTunes and they are practically neck and neck behind Untouched now:

Nina Persson wants to watch her mouth. :smoke: And Bhangra are satisfied with being a mere whisker behind N-Trance, and indeed closing the gap, indicating that Fragma's performance was more effective than N-Trance's.

BHANGRA WEEKEND NEWS

Fragma and Coco Star have completed their brief visit to the country of Ashton with interviews on three evening shows. There were no performances as such from the Bhangrans, however they did treat a select few fans and cabin crew to a quick sing-a-long as they were boarding their aeroplane and leaving the country.

The participants are expected to enter Kopecka at around 0600 tomorrow morning (UK time), where they intend to do several interviews throughout the day on various Kopeckan news channels, and concluding with a performance on the annual 'Royal Kopeckan Show' in front of the Kopeckan Prince of Sheba.

Simmondaily

Simmondaly representatives have made it clear they want a release from Quotosibb's entrant Beverley Knight here in Simmondly, the following performance on youtube has been viewed by 1000's since being added a couple of days ago and we are sure it would be a hit.

"EledaNews"

"New Countries" Adele's promo tour has finished quite successfully.

Adele says: "Quotosibb is the most pleasant country i have visited so far. I could feel the support and love that people were giving to me during the performance that i think was successful"

The Eledanese critics reported that Adele's performances have been on a high-level although she had some problems with her voice yesterday.

"EledaNews" published the current results of the special voting "The Nation Chooses":

1. Mdice: Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek 5,398 votes :right:

2. Bhangra: Fragma - Toca's Miracle 3,192 votes :right:

3. Faztickle: Ida Corr ft. Fedde Le Grand - Let Me Think About It 2,999 votes :right:

4. Quotosibb: Beverley Knight - Black Butta 2,598 votes

5. Kingdom Of shadow: Chicane/Tom Jones - Stoned In Love 2,590 votes :ne:

The current No.5 is very possible leader in the next days :o

Adele:

"I think that it was rude enough to say that about Serebro. I know them personally and they are wonderful girls. And if she knew russian language to understand the song she wuoldn't say so i bet. And also - if you say you are not afraid of the contenders win then you ARE in fact"

Adele finally told us about her friends from the upcoming contest:

Kelly Llorenna

She's just an amazing person. I've crossed with her in a couple of events.
Serebro [Elena Temnikova]
I met her when being in Kopecka a month ago. She told me that she had had the bronze in the contest of the 2nd version of "Fabrika Zvezd"(X-Factor equivalent)

Beverly Knight

She's one of my oldest friends since i started a career in show-business
Lily Allen
We met when performing at the same stage in Ashton for the charity. She was really nice to talk with

I think it would be amistake to drop Russell Brand, heard the song for the first time yesterday and I think it's surprisingly good, that along with his comedy factor should ensure he scores a fair number of point in the competition even if he can't compete with the 'Big Three'

As for the verdict on the live performances so far, Kelly Llorenna didn't really help her chances in this competition after that one I don't think... But Beverly Knight! What an amazing voice! What an amazing song! That's what this competition should be about REAL PURE TALENT! *standing ovation* from the Kingdom of Shadow!

EDIT: Wow! Thanks Eledan, I think the song is definately a grower but it's amazing to be up there competing with other songs such as those. I'm trying to pursuade Tom Jones to give a live performance soon.

Triodopolis Selection Commitee in Quit Denial

The TSC have denied rumours that they are to pull out of this month's contest due to the number of established artists and songs in BJSC6. It is thought the president of commitee would back a march by the citizens at Sniley Square, in the capital city Hinkelwinkel, but did not attend as expected. It is believed the president of the TSC backs unsigned and lesser known acts entering the BJSC giving them more exposure to the world as opposed to acts and songs which are already known. The stories follow poor opening odds for Triodopolis since controversially announcing their entry into BJSC6 with Nicol - Man On The Moon, without holding a national semi final.

Disappointment In Fragma

Ashtonese public were left disappointed after Fragma refused to give a performance on National TV. Support from the public has fallen 10fold after they left the country early this morning.

(Source: Ashton Sun)

Fragma have responded to remarks made by Ashton residents regarding their decision not to sing in the country saying, "it simply isn't feasible to sing in every country that we visit. We gave several interviews in Ashton, which we believe made up for the lack of singing in the country. In some countries we will sing once, maybe twice and give very brief interviews or no interview at all. It saddens me to think that our popularity has decreased, but what can you do?"

Despite not going on an offical tour, Laura Stevenson's management have revealed that she has performances lined up this week in Kopecka, Sangria and Bhangra, whose acts all performed in the Herzebanian national final. As well as the physical release of "Down" in FSR Rontvia, the official video will be unveiled throughout Buzzjack later in the week.

There should be some promotional activity in Eledan in the days coming up to the Contest.

Beverley support increases

Quotosibb's BJSC entrant Beverley Knight is said to be delighted about the recent flourish of support she has been receiving. Beverley Knight has been compared to Tina Turner by the Sangrian people. "I'm just gobsmacked at the amount of support I've had over the past few days, Black Butta has been doing well across the continent. I just can't believe it. I heard that someone in Sangria said I'm 'the next Tina Turner'. I can't even explain how big a compliment that is to me."

She is already releasing her BJSC entry in Quotosibb, FSR Rontvia and Eledan. Today Simmondly representatives have expressed their interest in the release of the single. The single will also be released in Simmondly, Sangria and Kingdom Of Shadow after the wonderful responses.

The praise has been flooding in, Eledan's representative Adele had this to say about Beverley, "She's one of my oldest friends since i started a career in show-business". A representatives from Kingdom of Shadow had this to say "What an amazing voice! What an amazing song! That's what this competition should be about real pure talent!"

Quotosibb's odds have also been shortening lately. Beverley is still considered very much an outsider, but she could have a surprise top 10 finish if the support continues to increase.

Sorry just a niggling thing.....

When odds are increasing / going up, it means they are getting longer, as in going from 20/1 to 40/1....

When odds are going down or shortening, it means the chances are increasing, a la 20/1 to 10/1.....

I'm nitpicking I know....it just had to be said

Thanks, I knew what I meant, but I forgot the correct word. (shortening)

Actually, while we are nitpicking. Beverley is spelled with an "ey" at the end. I've noticed a few people spelling it without an "e". I usually wouldn't bring it up, but it's something that really bugs me.

Corrs Scandal in Bhangra!!

Last night as thousands of Bhangrians awaited the performance of the Corrs a devious plot was afoot......

Just minutes before going on stage a piece of scaffolding fell and almost hit lead vocalist Andrea Corr. (Scaffolding was needed as thier is no permanent stage in Bhang Hall). Closer inspection of the scaffolding show that a bolt had been screwed loose at some point. Andrea Corr is said to be shocked by the incident but confirmed that this wouldn't scare her away from the competition. After a shaky start the Concert was postponed until 10pm.

"I don't care if the person is still in the audiance I'm going to perform my heart out tonight if nothing else to show I won't be scared away!"

- Andrea Corr

Thankfully nobody was hurt and an investigation by local police is well under way.
