A good episode this week.

Yes it was ANOTHER earth-based story but it was quite good brilliantly written by Mark Gatiss.

All i can say is i enjoyed it, a little scary, plenty of suspense. A great 45 minutes worth of TV.

Thought it was ok.

I found the end bit where they try to stop the wire a real bore but apart from that the episode had a lot of suspense in it and it was good.

I agree -_-

A brilliantly written Mark Gatiss episode which after the disappointing Cybermen double-header was a relief.

It was very League Of the Gentlemen-esque which for Doctor Who is a very good thing indeed.

Maureen Lipman was brilliant as the Wire.

Only another 6 days & 22+ Hours before Doctor Who can "feed me" again.

10/10

I'm trying to watch Dr. Who Confidential on BBC3 on the making of tonite's show, its quite interesting actually.

The episode just reminds me of the classics ones with Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker, well scripted by Mark Gatis and well acted.

I give it 8/10

Next week's episode looks good its based on another world.

Ditto.

Next week looks interesting, but i'll miss it as i'm in Scotland on "buisness" lol

This was my favourite episode yet!

I'm a bit biased though, what with it being written by Mark Gatiss.

The 'FEED MEEEEEE' bit made me laugh.

Brilliant. 10/10.

The Confidential was excellent too. Didn't get why Mark was bald in some parts. Reminded me of Haig (League character...)

Looking forward to next weeks episode!

oops forgot to turn over for the confidential show. Good job it's repeated.

I thought it was great, this series seem to be more polished and more like a mini film every week! definatly 10/10 for me, great to have some saturday night entertainment! ( when you are trying to nurse a hangover from the night before lol )

I really liked it. Mark Gatiss is an excellent writer. His Unquiet Dead episode last year was one of my favourites too.

Maureen Lipman was great as The Wire.

I agree with those that say it was much better than those Cybermen episodes.

What an episode!!! The wire was the best one in it!!

Mark gattis is such a superb writer, and actor, i tell ya, if he was the doctor, hed be better than all the rest, yes, even colin baker.

Next weeks one should be good, finnaly of earth, on a planet orbiting a black hole

But he'd have to have Live at Drury Lane hair, or maybe Chinnery hair.

Colin wasn't very good at all. Peter Davison more like.

Didn't like it at all. I just couldn't get into it. "The wire is hungry. Feed me". Bah! Worst one so far!

Better than some this series, but the ending was a bit c**p....

The whole "Feeeed Meeee!!!" thing just reminded me of the giant plant in "Little Shop of Horrors".......
