May 6, 200818 yr Author Is the data from HMV stores missing Martin or just their download store? Sales are pitifully low, especially in the album chart...it looks as if the No.5 album will be lucky to clear 10k this week :o Both for Monday, physicals and downloads :o and HMW are a big branch
May 6, 200818 yr Madonna's chart reign set to continue 14:38 | Tuesday May 6, 2008 By Ben Cardew Madonna looks on course to repeat her chart double this week, by once again topping albums and singles charts with Hard Candy and 4 Minutes (both Warner Bros) respectively. Sam Sparro’s Black And Gold (Island) looks to be 4 Minutes’ closes competitor, in a static singles chart, with Wiley’s Wearing My Rolex (Asylum) a close third. Kylie Minogue’s In My Arms (Parlophone) looks set to challenge for a top ten placing, while James Fox’s Bluebirds Flying High (Plastic Tomato) should make the top forty. On the albums chart, Hard Candy’s strongest challenge for the top slot comes from Scooter’s Jumping All Over The World (AATW), while both Def Leppard’s Songs From The Sparkle Lounge (Bludgeon Riffola) and Hadouken’s Music For An Accelerated Culture (Surface Noise) should make the top ten. source music week Edited May 6, 200818 yr by sunday

May 6, 200818 yr Author The chart gets worse and worse each week, there is only 1 new entry inside the top 40 singles chart, and that goes to James Fox that Bluebirds song with Cardiff City :o There are 3 climbers from outside the top 40 from Kylie, Sara Bareilles and Wideboys, with Rihanna Don't Stop The Music making a re-entry.
May 6, 200818 yr Oops I predicted that James Fox would only just make the top 75 in TIP's game. I didn't really know much about it. Is Kelly Rowland #16 or #17? I hope she'll be top 15 or even top 10 when the HMV sales are added. ^_^

May 6, 200818 yr It's Woolworths fault. Most physical singles are bought at their shops, and in their wisdom this week they have unbelievably chosen not to stock the Kylie single!!!!! Number 12 is amazing considering this. If they had stocked it it would certainly be top 10. You would be hard pressed to find hardly any Woolworths, in the south, that sell singles at all. So, that is rubbish.
