when you get the likes of that Russt creature offending people with his cringing tone of superiority, the line has been crossed.

But to 'cringe' at something implies that you have some sort of standards - I've read your nauseous posts, your lispy, camp little diatribes once too many times, Jerk - it's patently obvious you have no standards  . Your musical knowledge can be written on the back of a postage stamp - you've a one-track deeply boring love of camp pop and MTV-hyped cheesy r'n'b - and...well... that's it. That's really... it. You can pontificate about great vocalists when it's plainly apparent that if the musician in question isn't lightweight, fluffy, quasi-urban girlie nonsense - you wouldn't spot a decent vocal if it smacked you round your chin with a housebrick. And yes, I think Moyet is possibly the finest voice Britain's produced since Dusty Springfield - and so do many others...I mean, let's face it - she was Britain's most successful female artist for many, many years - worldwide. And she continues to produce stunning musioc - which she writes, plays AND sings. Of course, an artist with this depth would fly right over your empty little head - hence your total failure to grasp her greatness or her influence on modern music.

When I read, for example, thisispop's Personal Charts every week and his posts on here - I realise that whilst we don't always agree on music - he has a vast, broad knowledge and has the information to back up his claims. His musical tastes are to say the least eclectic and interesting - two things that you certainly couldn't say about a single chart you've foisted on us on this site. When I read Grimly or Jester or Brokentelephone's posts - again, I might not always agree with them - but from what they write it's obvious they have a great musical history and knowledge - and they're able to put their point across without them sounding like a hectoring Kenneth Wiliams, which you always seem to sound like - a lisping, flapping little girl with her bottom lip poking out making lots of noise. About absolutely nothing.

As for points being crossed - I may rile people on here, but I have never, in the history of this site, witnessed a member who riles people quite as much as yourself. OK, I know I shouldn't argue with children - that you're just a kid with a big mouth.... but you possess absolutely nothing... nothing at all... to back up anything you write. Whilst your little world may depend upon how great Rihanna is or how Dannii Minogue has revolutionised the music business - sometimes, just sometimes, it may serve you well to stand back, observe, listen and, most importantly.... learn. The difference between you and me is simple - I listen to something, I observe it, I devour it ... before making a judgement on it - whether it's nonsense like The Saturdays or something truly otherworldly and stunning like Sigur Ros (they're Icelandic - you've probably heard Hoppipolla. On an advert. Once). If I thought you had something to back up any argument you create, I'd rather like you - but your shallow, dumb, dull and limp musical tastes and motifying lack of knowledge let you down at every turn. They say empty vessels make the most noise - your fey tedious noxious posts are deafening, Jerk. Your life begins and ends with XFactor.... with pop-lite RnB.... with anything the media says you should like. How totally boring.

Of course, I won't even bother responding to, is it, Peyton..... I mean, anyone who truly thinks a Kelly Clarkson song is worthy of anything other than all-round side-splitting hilarity is really beyond repair, bless him/her

...... Well I'm just looking forward to Tuesday morning and the first set of midweeks.

If what I've read regarding the number of text sales "banked" is true (& don't forget they've been #1 in the Physical singles Pre-Orders charts of HMV & amazon.co.uk since McFly's single was release), then things will be very interesting on Buzzjack & in this thread. :D

That's funny, because I'm pretty sure that was responding...

And it's quite sad that, despite your amazing ability to write long winded posts, you're just a bit of a twit.

As for the whole "hilarity" thing, well... that's quite pathetic.

Kelly is a well respected artist and for you to just write her off as some sort of Cheeky Girl, well I'm speechless.

But we won't get into a Kelly debate, this thread should get back to being about what it says at the top... The Saturdays.

I dont get the picture of the bullsye?!

Oh my god, i never realised they were doing so well on pre-orders.

compare Clarkson to a Cheeky Girl?

Never :o - I mean, at least the Cheeky Girls found fame in a respectable way.... and at least they've never sung a song as monumentally dreadful as Because of You.

Kelly Clarkson is beyond terrible - bargain bin muzak for kids.

Much like The Saturdays who will, I think, be number one on Sunday.

I dont think its being stocked in Woolworths or Zavvi :(

Please shut up.

People are changing their tune now they've seen the pre-release chart arent they?!!

Am i the only one finding this thread interesting to read? :heehee: :kink:
It is, its great ... just like The Saturdays LOL!

Hardly. I said when I first joined the thread that those of you thinking if it goes Top 20 is doing well are living in cloud cuckoo land.

There is no way in the world with all the promotion, marketing & hype that Polydor spent on breaking these girls that this single was ever going to fail to reach the top 10. The fact is they've used all the McFly/Westlife tricks in the book to create a chart spike next week, before the single fades away. But what the record company are hoping for is that the single won't collapse like a McFly release and that it will hang around adding to the hardcore audience they have already picked up.

I will be amazed if this single is NOT #1 on the first set of midweeks on Tuesday, but what will be interesting to see how many sales they pick up on Day 1 (from the month in advance text service & physical advance orders), and how it sustains its sales during the week.

I still think the song & track is tepid stinking mediocrity that does not compare favourably to the average Steps or S Club 7 track let alone the likes of the Spice Girls, Girls Aloud or the Sugababes but that is only my personal opinion. The tune is not even catchy enough to be annoying.

But the simple fact that the Pussycat Dolls decided to postpone the UK release of their comeback single by a month should tell you something. Those of us old enough remember in the early mid 1990s when the returning New Kids On The Block took on the new hotly rising boy band called Take That and got humilated by the the thrashing they took by the British act and that was the end of NKOTB. In short the PCDs record company know that The Saturdays are going to sell and want to avoid clashing with them and coming off the losers.

I honestly wasnt referring to you thisispop :)

You're insight has to be the most well rounded on this topic, unlike the rest of the people who dont like it you can see why it WILL do well. Lets just hope everything you say will happen so that they can then release 'Up' and have a high peaking, big selling second single.

Are you aware the Cheeky Girls 'fame' was found when they auditioned for Popstars? Also a talent show just like Kelly but at least she won, they didn't even get past the first audition. And how you can say Because Of You is worse than the Cheeky Song is beyond me.

Please shut up.

People are changing their tune now they've seen the pre-release chart arent they?!!

sorry? I thought this was a PUBLIC forum - how DARE you tell me to shut up.

And hardly changing my tune... The Saturdays are still suburban gay disco muzak for dullards.

People are entitled to opinion and my opinion was for you to shut up after trying to even compare the Cheeky Girls music to Kelly Clarkson's.

Don't hate, appreciate!

Seriously, there are fans out there haha!

It makes me laugh, people on here will say they have no fans, but when it gets a high position next week, it'll be the fans that've got it there.

No one said they had no fans  The advanced txt thing (or cheating) means they'll probably be #1 on Tuesday mids anyway. Whether it'll be #1 is another question.

If it was cheating, it wouldn't be allowed.

So don't say that.

My god, that essay of a post of Russt's which no-one besides I likely even has the patience has made me a little bad sad, if only for your state of mind.

Truly, how can one person believe themselves so superior to another when they've never even met? For all that is flawed with your attitude and your approach, and my god there's a lot of flaws, I would never judge you the way you have me. I think you should find a way to express yourself which doesn't involve attempting to be a bully, because Grimly and Mushy have done so, but perhaps that's beyond you.

Either way, I'm glad you wasted more of your life on that post because now people can see you for what you likely really are.

People are entitled to opinion and my opinion was for you to shut up after trying to even compare the Cheeky Girls music to Kelly Clarkson's.

No Matter how much i disagree with his Cheeky Girls/Kelly clarkson thing... he IS entitled to his own opinion...
