Posted May 11, 200817 yr My only hope is that the putrid pile of turd at #1 had low sales and then PLUMMETS into oblvion next week.
May 11, 200817 yr Well Madonna's Hard candy must have dropped its sales alot to be overtaken. Confessions was no1 in the 2nd week. I think her new urban sounding album may have alienated many of her hard core fans and is unlikely to match the success of confessions.
May 11, 200817 yr Author I'm now worried The Question is What is the Question? will get a physical release and do a Basshunter. or worse, The LOGICAL SONG could get a re-issue.
May 11, 200817 yr I'm now worried The Question is What is the Question? will get a physical release and do a Basshunter. or worse, The LOGICAL SONG could get a re-issue. The Question Is.... already had a physical release a couple of weeks ago
May 11, 200817 yr I think jumping all over the world will be a Number 1 I so so so hope it will not be.
May 11, 200817 yr i think its funny, madonnas sales were poor last week for her and now she's been knocked off top spot
May 11, 200817 yr Why is everyone trashing Scooter?? Its not their fault they are successful, just like its not Madonnas fault shes successful or Kylie or McFly etc... etc... Its our own faults for buying the records! And i think Scooter is the best album we've had at number 1 this year so far! HONESTLY! Its a really nice shock! and i am Pleasently surprised they have a number 1 album! Bout time IMO! And TBH if it wasnt for the 2nd CD (Greatest Hits more or less) they probably would have flopped but THANK GOD they didnt coz now i know at LEAST 20k have heard the brilliant JAOTW, TQIWITQ & ANM so hopefully their next single wont flop as bad as TQIWITQ did!
May 12, 200817 yr My only hope is that the putrid pile of turd at #1 had low sales and then PLUMMETS into oblvion next week. fat chance...it will linger like Cascada Mwahahahahah...
May 12, 200817 yr Actually The Question Is... is back to its peak in the singles chart this week, at number 49 :o
May 12, 200817 yr scooter have ben around for years and its nice to see them having some success INCORRECT. It's bloody awful, and really shows how dance music is now being overrun with cheesy and putrid $h!tE like Cascada, Basshunter and Scooter. Surely we can do better than that!
May 12, 200817 yr I just don't understand it. Is this a fix in some way? Who even knew Scooter were releasing a new album? How was it at number 2 on Woolworths chart last week? How did it get to number one. It doesn't make sense. Was their last album a big hit?
May 12, 200817 yr Author Scooter make Cascada sound like The Beatles, thats how foul they are. Popkid, they havent released an album in 5 years and that only reached #20 and then sank without a trace.
May 12, 200817 yr INCORRECT. It's bloody awful, and really shows how dance music is now being overrun with cheesy and putrid $h!tE like Cascada, Basshunter and Scooter. Surely we can do better than that! I absolutely agree. Scooter have always been one of the worst bands in my list. They are absolutely unoriginal, cheesy, repetative and sound very dated. They haven't produced anything new or slightly different from what they did when they originally came out. They use the same awful beats, loudly screaming male recitative and that annoying Minnie Mouse-like voice. Don't get me wrong. I like dance music and I can appreciate a good dance song. Their stuff however are simply unlistenable.. It is embarassing that a band like that holds the UK #1 album position.
May 12, 200817 yr I dont understand why people are so against it, far worse albums have topped the charts and besides Madonna's album didn't deserve another week at #1.
May 12, 200817 yr It's nowhere near as bad or shambolic as Westlife getting the #1 albums they have...
