Posted May 28, 200620 yr The anonymous ballot did exactly what I wanted it to - brought a sense of a competition back to this survivors. 4 songs out of 7 got votes, compared to just 1 out of 8 in the previous round. It was 4-3 and the 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory' soundtrack sampling 'I Still Believe (Pure Imagination)' remix went out. I won't remind you what the song to get 3 votes was because then you vultures will pick on it :P These are the songs left. Voting is back to normal - the anonymous ballot method will be used every so often to keep things interesting. May 29, 200620 yr I still believe! why does nobody like the busta song! :o Because it's the most awful song Mariah has ever put her name to. :) However I Still Believe is one of the best vocal performances Mariah has done in my opinion. :wub:

The song itself does not stick out as anything special for me. But that might be because it was on the a best-of so it stuck out as not being good enough to make #1. (Not that 'chart positions = goodness' but you get the idea). I'll listen to it some more this month and see if it can grow on me on your recommendation. That's the good thing about Mariah - there are so many songs to enjoy. But out of the songs left in this survivor, it HAS to go soon.
May 31, 200620 yr I want either that or another 1 to win. :D I do think the vocals are amazing on it though, and you're totally right about having so many good songs, I only had Mimi and bought the other albums on recommendations, and now only 1 or 2 songs from Mimi really, really stand out to me.
