Sorry but I disagree completely.

Is it just coincidence how The Killers, P!nk, Lily Allen, Girls Aloud (Plus many more) recieved a sales boost in their albums the week DURING their tour? Albeit sometimes their singles benefit a bit more (from cherry pickers) but to say the tour doesn't help the album is just insane. The week the tour started in the US, didn't her album climb like 15 places or something??

Yeah I think that was a combination of the tour and IYSA becoming pretty big.

It may not help the album alot, but I'm sure radio will pick up on her singles alot more while she is touring then if she wasn't, which could result in sales.

Oops....made a slight mistake with the data in my above post - at the time the sale's of Circus (album) peaked due to Amy it sold 2K (not 1k as i previously reported - got week mixed up ). So given the next single is most unlikely to get anywhere near the 'success' of Amy, the album is well on course for selling that extra 30k

I think the album should get a good boost from the tour coming to the UK or at least I would hope. With the attention geared at Britney returning to the UK, especially since she's rarely there in the first place, and with the big tour the album should at the least get some sort of boost. And yeah, I agree, radio should definitely pick up her singles more during and around the duration of the tour there.

I'm not expecting the album to be helped as much as P!nk or Lily's albums etc... as they were doing dates across the country rather than doing several shows in the one city. I would however like to see it in the Top 40 again! Hopefully it will do that at least.

Oh and HIIII ima

And on that NOTE, The album is UP this week in the mids to 76. About to re-enter the Top 75 soon, probably due to the hype that the tour is only around the corner :yahoo:

Oh and Hi ima again :kink:

Back in the Top 75 (at 75) in the mids today! :D Hope she keeps climbing!!

No Jon, what ima says is the GOSPEL. Haven't you heard?
If you ask me it seemed inevitable the album was going to rise once the tour started in the UK. Not only will thousands of people be seeing her in concert but it also brings promo and, of course, controversy which just adds to the attention anyways. Everyone is just too excited Britney is in the UK again. I'm thinking the album should rise again this week too.

Didn't know where to ask so thought I'd do it here-

I just came across a remix cd for Unusual You - is it getting a release?

Remixes are amazing

Yeah, I saw that too. Pretty sure it's fan made. The remix titles don't sound official at all and there was also a remix package for Shattered Glass.
