Stargate produced Jordin's Tattoo, not No Air.

 

And I'm still shocked Take A Bow has done so well, it's so bland and nothing compared to Don't Stop The Music.

No Air is far far better than Take A Bow IMHO.

 

Still I'm delighted with this week's UK#1 hit single. Nice to see an Indie type song at #1 for a welcome change.

 

It more than makes up for the Great DJ chart ineligibility debacle, plus they are from the same part of Manchester as the legendary The Smiths....

Take A Bow isnt on the album, so it was bound to do better than the previous singles

I hope something comes out of nowhere on downloads alone and keeps this dirgy Rihanna song off #1, otherwise it will be.

I do agree with whoever said ''Unfaithful'' was better though. I don't mind The Ting Tings being #01 anyway, Rihanna should be #01 next week and I don't think she'll be there for too long so it'd be nice to see shorter stays at #01 ^_^

But she has done pop-rock (SUAD), ballads (Unfaithful and Take A Bow), dancey-pop (DSTM, Pon De Replay), R&B-esque stuff (We Ride), poppy pop (Umbrella). So she has done lots of different stuff and thats pretty good. And Take A Bow is a FAIRLY risky song to release as a lead single

It's not really a lead single, it's only off the upcoming re-release so I don't think it matters too much really. I don't think her or her management expected it to be the success it has been either really.
