May 21, 200817 yr Eugh Jonas Brothers & Nickelback. I hope neither are hits. :puke2: Pleased that Chris Brown's new song is playlisted. It's amazing. Better than 'With You' even
May 21, 200817 yr Ironik :o taken its time to make the playlist Photograph is better than Rockstar (but what isn't :P) but is very old now...it reminds me of starting uni...I've now finished

May 21, 200817 yr All of them are highly predictable and safe additions. I would not agree this week (or last for that matter) :o Who should they playlist then in your opinion?
May 21, 200817 yr Sara Bareilles on A List on both Radio 1 and 2. I have been able to avoid her for six months in the US by only listening to Radio 1 and 2. And now she's on both A Lists; I can only tolerate the song for 30 seconds and then start yelling "will she ever finish this song?" I can only hope she'll have a short shelf life and be dropped in one or two weeks; the great British public and BBC rarely let me down. Great for Vampire Weekend on the A list, but the Guillemots, Royworld, and Elbow need to be moved up as well. Thrilled that 4 Minutes is finally gone; please let this be the final week for September and Sam Sparro. Sam Sparro is about to reach the top of the Radio 1 overplayed club dethroning Princess Superstar and David Guetta.
May 21, 200817 yr These are the songs i like from this weeks playlist A List Alphabeat - 10,000 Nights Sara Bareilles - Love Song Taio Cruz - I Can Be Duffy - Warwick Avenue Rihanna - Take A Bow September - Cry For You Sam Sparro - Black And Gold The Ting Tings - That's Not My Name Will I Am featuring Cheryl Cole - Heartbreaker The Zutons - Always Right Behind You B List Gabriella Cilmi - Sweet About Me * Fallout Boy featuring John Mayer - Beat It [d/l : now] Ne-Yo - Closer Panic At The Disco - The Green Gentleman C List * Chris Brown - Forever [d/l : now] Alicia Keys - Teenage Love Affair
May 22, 200817 yr All of them are highly predictable and safe additions. Just like every other week then??
May 22, 200817 yr * Chris Brown - Forever [d/l : now] * Jonas Brothers - SOS [d/l : 16/06] :puke: :puke: * Nickelback - Photograph [d/l : now] :puke: :puke: * Weezer - Pork And Beans [d/l : 23/06] WTF where the hell is Sonny J, yet they choose to playlist the fecking Jonas Brothers whose song is about as bearable as being made to listen to McFly's 'greatest' hits. Havent we all had enough of Nicklec**p this year, with their whiny irritating songs. The only good thing about the playlist is Buy Now, such a brilliant dance tune, Vampire Weekend, Infadels and DJ Disciple Until they playlist Sonny J, I'm boycotting the station, I bet they are so scared
May 22, 200817 yr Shock horror I actually heard Scott Mills play Kids In Glass Houses yesterday :o c**p playlist though. No wonder I never listen haha.
May 22, 200817 yr I would not agree this week (or last for that matter) :o Who should they playlist then in your opinion? To be fair the whole music scene seems a bit dry at the moment so I can't list specific examples, to me it just becomes even more apparent that Radio 1's playlisting team aren't very open minded and just playlist what you'd expect of them. Just like every other week then??  Yes, pretty much. :(

She's gonna be the new Loeb/Vanessa Carlton type figure :heehee: Though I must say her video is very interesting.
