I prefer 'That's Not My Name' to 'Great DJ' but like both.

Shame the rest of their album isn't as good :(

How come it is chart ineligible at one stage and than a couple of months later eligible? (Not that I don't like the song, it's just weird)

The single was DSQ'd, but can chart now as its an album track.

Finally Great DJ is eligible for the chart. :cheer:

A bit like Madonna's Live Earth single "Hey You" which only became chart eligible when the Live Earth compilation album came out.

But trust Reggie & Fearne to get their facts wrong as to why it was not previously in the charts. For crying out loud, how hard is it to employ someone with some factually correct information. :hithead:

People have downloaded it from the album, as a separate track, hence its chart entry.

It's not that big a mystery, it's obviously that downloads of the single version aren't eligible, and downloads of the album version are.

For me it was a mystery  But now it's clear. Thanks :P

wow, some brilliant songs back to back, im so happy Snap! made top 40, i hope they have a similar run to Phil collins, least this is better!!!!

Gutted about Gusto, would have thought it would have made top 20 especially with Freemasons on it??!!

Happy for the Ting Tings, i wonder if the other single will chart today!!!!

Guessing Sandi Thom and Andy Abraham aren't in the chart this week

Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue started out as an actress, working on the TV show NEIGHBOURS, whose UK popularity eventuated the young singer taking up with megapop production team Stock, Aitken & Waterman (who also made Rick Astley a success). With that titanic trio behind her, Kylie became the queen of the British pop charts, scoring hit after hit. Like Sheena Easton, she eventually changed her image from girl-next-door to sex-kitten and shortly thereafter became the paramour of INXS vocalist Michael Hutchence. Though Kylie reigned supreme in the UK, establishing a Madonna-like presence on records and in films, she never took off in America until her 2002 album FEVER finally made her a US dance-pop diva. In Spring 2005, whilst touring her Greatest Hits, Minogue was diagnosed with breast cancer. After successfully battling the disease the world tour resumed 18 months later in her hometown of Melbourne, Australia to a rapturous reception. - HMV
